You may have found the wrong connector on your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder to install the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3050-P. The harness is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.
I attached an install video and installation instructions for this product for you to check out. This may help you determine if you have found the correct harness or not. If the # 3050-P you received does not look like the picture... view full answer...
The hitch is rated for its given capacity when installed according to the installation instructions and that includes the torque ratings specified in the instructions. If they are too tight you can damage the hitch and vehicle frame. Not tight enough and the hitch could come loose.
If you do not have a torque wrench many auto parts stores will loan out tools. I recommend calling around to a few places to see if they have a tool loan program so you can torque down the hitch hardware to... view full answer...
If the 12 volt pin on the 7-way of your 2015 Nissan Pathfinder is not working, you may have a blown fuse or wiring issue with the connector. The Curt Echo # C51180 does not require anything extra to work with a Pathfinder.
You will want to test your 7-way with a circuit tester like # PTW2992 and if you aren't getting power to the 12 volt pin you will want to check your owner's manual for the fuse locations as it is likely a blown fuse. view full answer...
Actually for the 2012 Pathfinders the relays are located under the hood. There should be a small black box, take the lid off of the box and there should be a legend that will tell you where each of the relays goes. view full answer...
Kat's recommends using the plug located on the Left Front (LF per included diagram) drivers side on the engine closest to the grill for installing the Kat's Heaters Custom Engine Block Heater part # KH11412 in your 2017 Nissan Pathfinder.
The instructions state not to use any form of sealant around the O ring. This will prevent the heater from fully seating and could cause leaks. Step 5 below is the only mention of the use of silicone grease specifically.
The following is from the installation... view full answer...
Yes you can setup the Tekonsha P3, # 90195, without a trailer connected. However, you will most likely need to do some fine tuning once a trailer is connected to get the proper amount of power back to the brakes for the particular trailer and load you are towing.
The first thing to do before even setting the power output is to make sure the controller is mounted properly in the vehicle according to the installation instructions which I have linked for you. If the controller is not mounted... view full answer...
The only issue you might come across with the Solera awning # LCV000165062 is that there will be more stress put on different parts of the awning rail, since the connection point will be at the top rather than the bottom. However, there's no other reason you couldn't install the rail with the screws facing downward. view full answer...
You will not need a fuse to charge your trailer battery while towing. If you are trying to maintain a charge for a trailer battery via the 7-Way, you will want to use the top right pin on the 7-Way (if looking at the front of the vehicle side plug). It is the 12 volt power source.
On the trailer side connector, attach the wire coming from the top right pin (if looking at the back of the plug) to the trailer battery positive terminal. Now when the trailer is connected and you are towing,... view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Tow Ready and he said there should be two mating connectors for the gray and black connectors on the inboard side of the driver side frame rail near the spare tire. He did tell me that Nissan is notorious for moving the wiring on their vehicles and the last information he received was that the connectors were on the top part of the driver side frame rail at the spare tire.
The connectors are typically pretty visible and should be easy to spot. Photo C that you... view full answer...
The location of the trailer relays on a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder will vary based on if you have a factory tow package or not. If you have the factory tow package then you should have relays or at least a spot for them in the engine bay fuse box. If you don't have the factory tow package then odds are there are no relays nor a place for them to be inserted inside the engine bay fuse box therefore you need a relay harness (T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector part # 118266)... view full answer...
I can tell you how to find the brake switch stop light wire on your 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. The brake switch is located above the brake pedal, under the dash. It will have numerous wires running into it. There will be any number of colors. There is a chance that the wire is red with a green stripe, but wire color is not an exact science, and manufacturers might up and change the color in the middle of a model year. Since I cannot say what color the wire you need will for sure, you can find... view full answer...
For wiring harness # 118670 the extra 2 blue relays will plug into the relay box located under the hood on your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. This box is located near the back of the engine compartment on the passenger's side of the vehicle. There should be a legend showing the functions of each location in the box. view full answer...
If your tow package includes a built-in port beneath your vehicle dash, I recommend installing the brake controller via this Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers for Nissan vehicles, Item # 3050-P. This adapter is confirmed by our fit guide to fit 2015 Nissan Pathfinders. To install your brake controller with this adapter, simply plug one end of the adapter into the brake controller and the other end into the port beneath your vehicle dash. This makes for a much... view full answer...
You will be able to reinstall the spare tire on your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder after you install the Curt Hitch part # C13126. If you check out the installation instruction I attached for this hitch to the right you will see that the last step is to reinstall the spare tire. view full answer...
The AutoAttach pin on the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 is essentially just a guide for ensuring that the shank of the rack is far enough into the hitch receiver that the rack is secured.
Once the AutoAttach system is lined up with the hitch pin hole and it snaps in place then you use the anti-rattle knob to expand the shank to take all of the wobble out of the rack. The anti-rattle knob can then be locked which prevents the bike rack from being removed even if that AutoAttach... view full answer...
There are no laws I am aware of that would prevent you from mounting the TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box on top of the trailer frame. It would not hurt to contact the local DMV or state highway patrol office to confirm.
On a lot of trailers, the propane tanks are mounted up front and sometimes overhang the frame so I can't imagine that batteries contained in a secure steel or aluminum box would be any different. view full answer...
Yes, this is the only way to install the Firestone Air Helper Springs item # F4118. The top of the air helper spring makes contact with the factory bump stop so there is no way to install an air valve. The air bag only limits how much your coil spring compresses when under a heavy load, in the event of an air bag failure your coil spring would still function as normal. I have linked a review video that will demonstrate the function of the air helper springs and the install method.

I spoke with my contact at Draw-Tite about your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. They said there have been no reported issues with removing the tie-downs they are aware of.
Per the instructions all that is mentioned is that the tie-downs need to be removed from the vehicle. I have attached a link to an installation video you can check out that shows how they remove the tie-down on a Pathfinder. In the video they use an air tool that seems to work quite well.
From the video it looks as though... view full answer...

I checked the owner's manual for the 2012 Nissan Pathfinder but they only show where the various fuse panels are.
