  • Brake Controller and Install Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander
  • Let's start with the wiring on your 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander that you have a 4-way installed on currently. This is the correct wiring kit to use as a base for the rest of the wiring to install the controller. From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well. For...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and 4-Way Wiring Harness For a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander
  • I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C87WR on your 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander. This is custom fit for attaching to your frame and uses a 2" receiver to offer a greater selection of hitch mounted accessories and ball mounts. You will want to install the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 when you install the receiver. This will give you a 4-way flat wiring connector which is the most common connector used on small trailers. It will also allow for Auxiliary Lights...

  • Brake Controller Installation Kit & 7-Way Mounting Bracket for 2010 Mitsibushi Outlander V6
  • When we installed Curt hitch # 13581 on a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander the hitch pin hole in the receiver was only 2-inches forward of the rear bumper so you will probably be better off with the short no-drill bracket # 18140. This will clamp onto your hitch tube with the included ring clamp. The 7-way bracket included in the # ETBC7 kit will in turn screw on to the no-drill bracket. You will have plenty of space behind the rear of the 7-way to clear your hitch cross tube.

  • Converter To Wire 4-Way Harness on 2008 Mitsibushi Outlander To 7-Way European Trailer Connector
  • We do not carry the vehicle-side plug for a European 7-way round plug like you said is on your trailer. You will need to find one locally. You can use the tail light converter like part # 118158, and along with a 4-way harness like part # 18004, you can make an adapter that will work for you. I have attached a photo with all of the wires for input and output noted you can check out.

  • Trailer Wiring Harness that Fits 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander
  • For the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Curt lists the part # C56189 as a fit which plugs inline with the vehicle taillights. If you have the correct connector for the part # C56296 to fit there's a good chance it would work, but I'd recommend using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the pins of the connector to make sure they are active.

  • Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander with Tow Package
  • Since you have the factory tow package on your 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander the trailer wiring kit you'll want is the T-One part # 118277. • The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56189 is still able to be used on your 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander with factory tow package. The factory wiring at the tail lights will be the same as a vehicle without the tow package and the power from your battery to the module will protect your electrical system. • Trailer Hitch and Wiring Option for 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander for Towing Small Trailer
  • That's going to depend on a few things. How much does the trailer weigh? What does the owners manual of your 2007 Outlander state as the towing capacity? From the research I did on your vehicle it has a towing capacity of between 2,000 lbs and 3,500 lbs depending on how it is equipped. If your trailer will weigh less than 2k than it's going to easily be towable. The Curt hitch part # 13581 is a fit for your vehicle and would work well. It would have more capacity than you'd need so you...

  • Best Weight Distribution Option for 3000 lb Travel Trailer Towed by 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander V6
  • As a first step, I'd recommend you confirm the towing capacity of your vehicle. According to my research, V6 models of the Outlander have a 2000 lb towing capacity, while AWD versions have a 3500 lb towing capacity. Please confirm this with your owner's manual or your dealer. If your vehicle proves to have the 2000 lb tow capacity, I wouldn't tow that trailer with your Outlander. To choose a weight distribution system, you'll need to first determine the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue...

  • Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device for Curt Hitch 13581 on a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander GT
  • An anti-rattle hitch lock that uses a regular hex-head bolt should fit your Curt trailer hitch # 13581. Take a look at # SR25219. The head will be approximately 3/4 inches wide so measuring from the center of the hitch pin that would be 3/8 of an inch. If you have 3/8 of an inch from the center of the pin hole to the bar on your hitch then this lock would work. Another option is to use a regular hitch lock such as # C23519 and a stand-alone anti-rattle device like # BX88224.

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendations for a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander for Use with Cargo Carrier
  • Only the Curt hitches that aren't rated for use with a weight distribution system will have the stabilizer strap recommendation when used with a non-supported load like a cargo carrier. The Curt hitch part # C13163 would not require the use of a stabilizer strap in any situation. For a cargo carrier our most popular option is the Pro Series carrier part # 63153.
