Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander LS

Question:

I wonder if this one will fit in my 2007 Mitsubishi outlander LS V6 2FW? Or I have to find the special part to mount it to replace the original one?

The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler # D13503 that you referenced is a universal fit supplemental transmission cooler. As long as you have room for it in front of your radiator/ac condenser it would work just fine on your 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander. The dimensions of this cooler are 11" Wide x 8-3/4" tall x 7/8" deep. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.

It sounds like you are trying to replace your factory cooler with this one. While this isn't the typical use for this cooler it can be made to do this. You would just need to route the send and return lines of your factory cooler to this instead of the factory cooler. No special adapters or fitting should be necessary. The rubber lines of the # D13503 will slip of the fitting that ran to your factory cooler and will tighten with the included clamps.
