It is normal to have a little play between the hitch and your bike rack, and that play is what causes the rattling you are experiencing.
If you wanted to reduce that play you could use a the no-Rattle Trailer Hitch Wedge # MPG908.

Brake controllers draw a considerable amount of amperage. What I can almost guarantee happened is when you hit the override lever of the controller you overdrew the running light/head light circuit you used to power the brake controller. Once you determine what has shorted out on the truck I would strongly recommend you change the wiring of the brake controller so that it is powered straight off of the positive terminal of the battery through a circuit breaker like part # 9506P.

If you have the trailer wiring harness # 118520 installed according to the instructions and it is not showing power coming out of the converter box then that indicates that the converter is bad and needs to be replaced.

The first thing you will want to do is have the error codes showing up on the vehicle cleared by a mechanic. When a vehicle throws codes like that they stay in the computer memory so disconnecting the controller won't stop the error messages from appearing.

Bummer to hear about you bending your jack, I have a solution for you, but I can't recommend you cut off any of your current jacks tubing.
I would instead suggest you get a swivel jack like the ProSeries # PSEJ10000101 and remove your current A-frame jack. This ProSeries jack will bolt onto your trailers frame and allow you to swivel it out of the way for better ground clearance when not in use.

We have a similar product as the one you referenced, part # C35FR. This product works on most German vehicles that have a hard time detecting trailers with LED taillights. I would normally recommend this for a situation like yours. But we have had feedback with other Land Rover owners who have reported that this product did not work with their trailer with LED taillights.

If you notice chipped areas on your Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 76020, for your 2018 Mazda CX-9, the best thing to do is lightly sand that area to get it evened out and then paint over it to prevent the rust from spreading. A potential cause for your issue is a weak ground connection. Trace the white ground wire from your 4-pole back to where it attaches to the vehicle frame. It's best to only loosely install the mounting hardware at first, and once you get all of the hardware started go through and torque everything to spec. So I would recommend you loosen the bolts you've already tightened to give you a bit of room to move the hitch around and get that last bolt started.

When a single trailer taillight doesn't want to function the issue is almost always related to the ground of the assembly. What you'd want to do is check the condition of the ground and fix as needed. If you have the # TLL9RK kit that you referenced it grounds through the white wire of the assemblies that normally get ran to the trailer frame. There can be issues like this on some trailers using LED lights where they don't work at all. More than likely your LED lights aren't drawing enough power and this is the reason the tester works but not the lights on the actual trailer. First check to make sure the light is grounded properly. That is typically what causes a trailer light to stop working. Especially when the light is an LED that doesn't normally burn out.
The light # C7493RTM that you referenced has a sealed lens that does not allow you to get into it. Plus the LED light inside it is not like a standard bulb that is easily replaced.
Try improving the ground first. That will most likely fix the problem.

The turn signals should definitely work while your running lights are on. Based on what you are describing you need to check the ground wire connection on your # C56377. Make sure it is secure on a clean, bare-metal surface. The other possibility is the connections from the T-connector aren't secure. If installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 triggered error messages on the dash of your 2018 Mazda CX-5 then most likely the red wire from the controller was connected to the wrong wire on the vehicle.
