The Thule T2 Pro XTR bike rack part # TH69TX has a weight capacity of 60 lbs per bike so it's not going to work for you since you have a 65 lb e-bike. The best bike rack solution we have is the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 which has a 65 lb per bike capacity and also comes with a ramp that pulls out for easy loading and unloading.
This rack has quite a bit of rise built into the bike rack as you can see in the attached picture but without knowing how tall your hitch opening is from... view full answer...
Since Thule doesn't run the length of the feet channel on the bottom of the bars all the way across the bar you can't substitute much longer crossbars than what they recommend as you'll run into the issue you described. So the 47 inch bars # TH711200 were too short for the Hullavator # TH898 and the longer 60 inch bars were too long to fit the feet so the best solution is the 53 inch bars part # TH711420 which would give you the clearance needed and will fit. Using the feet part # TH460R... view full answer...
Yes, I checked with Draw Tite and the hitch part # 76138 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Mazda CX-5. We have install pics for it on the 2016 model which it also fits, but haven't had the chance to install it on a 2017. view full answer...
One route you could go would be to use the long ball mount part # BM20 that you referenced and a towing bike rack like the part # S64664. Check out the review video I attached for the bike rack.
Another solution for you would be to go with a roof rack bike rack. Which if you don't have a roof rack check out the link I attached that will take you to a page that has all of the racks we offer for the various roof designs of your 2014 Mazda CX-5.
For a roof rack mounted bike rack you could... view full answer...
The installation process will vary slightly depending on whether you have the 2016 or the mid-year 2016.5 model Mazda CX-5 but the available trailer hitches themselves will not change.
For whichever model 2016 CX-5 you have the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Trailer Hitch # 76138 that you were looking at will work perfectly. I really like this hitch because of its hidden crosstube design that allows for a sleek OEM appearance where only the 2 inch receiver is visible behind the vehicle.... view full answer...
I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118746 for your 2021 Mazda CX-5. This harness uses factory style connectors to plug into your tail light harness so that you do not have to splice into your tail light wiring. This will give you a 4-way flat connector that you need to operate the tail lights on the U-Haul trailer.
With the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98902 already installed on your Mazda you should have a receiver height of 13" to the inside top portion of... view full answer...
Draw-Tite Class III hitch # 76138 is a good choice for your 2016 Mazda CX-5 since it offers a higher weight capacity than Curt hitch # C13315. Please note that Curt does NOT require use of their support strap # 18050 with this hitch although they do require it for some other hitches.
For a 4-pole wiring harness you can indeed use Tekonsha kit # 118563 which is compatible with your LED lighting. This wiring can be converted to the 7-way type needed for a brake controller by adding kit #... view full answer...
The Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack roof rack part # MPG215 is a confirmed fit for the factory raised rails of your 2020 Mazda CX-5 and would be exactly what you are looking for. You get a high quality aero shaped roof rack that easy to install at a price that you can't beat!

You're smart to want the flexibility of a 2 inch hitch receiver; that will offer you many more options in terms of accessories than the smaller 1-1/4 inch receiver. With that in mind, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 76138 for your 2017 Mazda CX-5, which is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver. There are no drawbacks to installing this hitch over its Class II counterpart, the Curt # C12170, as the Class III offers the flexibility you mentioned.
Since you plan on towing, I recommend... view full answer...
All you'll need to install a hitch mounted bike rack in your 2019 Mazda CX-5 is a hitch like the # e98902 that you referenced and a single bike rack. For a bike rack then the Kuat Transfer 1 part # KU64FR is a really great option. Its lightweight, easy to load/unload, folds down for smaller storage, and is really stable. No other items would be needed. view full answer...
The Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 76138 is the most popular option for the 2013 Mazda CX-5 and does look fantastic on the vehicle.
The great thing is that when we installed the hitch on the vehicle is the distance from the hitch pin hole center to clear the rear bumper was only 3-3/4 inches. This will allow for many bike rack options to fit nicely on the vehicle.
.
For something a little closer to the vehicle, take a look at the Swagman XTC-2, # S64670. This is our most popular platform rack... view full answer...
For your 2021 Mazda CX-5 Turbo the etrailer hitch part # e98902 would be your best option. It's a 2 inch hitch with higher capacities that is mostly hidden. The 2 inch size has the most hitch accessories like bike racks made for it and also has higher weight capacities than the 1-1/4 inch size which will help with the bike rack and also if you end up towing.
You'll need trailer wiring to tow your trailer which for that we have the Tekonsha kit part # 118746 which is our most reliable... view full answer...
I checked your order notes and you have the Curt hitch part # C13127 which is a 2 inch trailer hitch.
What you'll want is the anti-rattle hitch lock part # 63232. This installs in the ball mount you have and holds it tight to the hitch wall so that the movement goes away. view full answer...
The only trailer hitch options we currently offer for a 2023 Mazda CX-5 are from Draw-Tite, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76138 is what I recommend. This is an excellent bolt-on option which requires no drilling or welding. It has a 2" opening which is great for towing or hitch mounted accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers. view full answer...
The Rhino Rack roof rack part # RRRS367 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Mazda CX-5 and attaches to the fixed mounting points that you have on the roof of your vehicle. This is the style you said you preferred so this would work well for you. view full answer...
For a bike rack that requires the least amount of physical exertion, I recommend going with a hitch mounted bike carrier like the Saris Freedom, part # SA4412B. This rack is lightweight, weighing in right at 22-1/2 lbs, and is very easy to use. I have attached a video of it on a CX-5 for you.
This rack does require your vehicle to be equipped with a trailer hitch receiver. If you do not have one already, take a look at the Draw-Tite Class III Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 76138.... view full answer...
The pricing of a hitch and and the installation can vary based on the manufacturer and the location where you get the hitch installed. I recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98902 for your 2020 Mazda CX-5 because it gives you the 2" receiver you likely need with a wheelchair platform plus it comes with a matte black finish that not only looks stylish but it also does a better job at hiding scuffs and marks from road debris than the standard glossy finish on other... view full answer...

Lifting kayaks up onto the roof of a vehicle is definitely not something that anybody looks forward to, especially when your arms are burning and it's time to head home after leaving the water. My favorite lift-assist carrier to recommend is the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898 because of its extremely sturdy design and efficient gas struts on the folding arms that do most of the work.
To install this carrier on your 2019 Mazda CX-5 (if the roof is completely free of any side... view full answer...
I do have an option for you but there's not much you can do load assist wise for the setup you have now, the Malone FoldAway-J Kayak Roof Rack part # MAL98FR. The Telos XL Load Assist for Malone Kayak Carriers part # MPG351XL is probably your best option but in order to use them you'd likely need a new set of j-style cradles, the Malone DownLoader Kayak Roof Rack part # MPG114MD. In a lot of cases, you can get away without new j-style cradles using the Universal Roof Rack Adapter Kit for... view full answer...
