If you need to carry cargo with your Kia Soul, I do have a few potential solutions for you. I will tell you there is not a trailer hitch available anywhere that will fit the center exhaust model at this time (July 2023). As long as you have a brake flange on your axle, adding brakes is easy. You also can add a brake flange by welding one on if you don't have one, so yes...brakes can be added to your axle. There are some measurements I need of your spindle or the bearings in order to make sure we get you the correct hub/drums. You can use a caliper like # PTW80157 to get these measurements.

I may have a solution for you, but there is not a platform bike rack available for a Class I- 1-1/4" hitch that will carry more than 2 bikes, and in reality you cannot safely carry more than 2 bikes on any rack with a Class I hitch.
