Can Brakes Be Added To A Carson Car Hauler Trailer?
Question:
I have a Carson car hauler. Can breaks be added to this trailer? The tires are 205/75D14. 5 lug nuts. Thanks for your help.

As long as you have a brake flange on your axle, adding brakes is easy. You also can add a brake flange by welding one on if you don't have one, so yes...brakes can be added to your axle. There are some measurements I need of your spindle or the bearings in order to make sure we get you the correct hub/drums. You can use a caliper like # PTW80157 to get these measurements.
I've attached a photo and an article to help you measure your spindles or your bearings and seal for fit.
