Before replacing your T-One Wiring Harness # 118583 you'll want to use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to check for voltage going into the converter box on that wire as well as outside the converter box. I took a look at the online version of the owner's manual for your 2016 Kia Sorento and if it's equipped with the tow package there should be a 30 amp fuse for the trailer wiring connector inside the under-hood fuse box. You may need to try to find some other wiring on your 2015 Kia Sorento until you find a wire with your tester that only gets hot when your brake pedal is pressed. I tried looking up what the wire color might be for cold side of your brake light switch but I wasn't able to find anything.

As the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75684 was designed and tested using the threaded frame inserts, it is the only acceptable method for mounting the receiver to your 2011 Kia Sorento. Most likely the problem is that the connector that runs to the left turn signal of the vehicle just isn't fully seating so the connector does not have the voltage at the pin.
However, you can test to make sure the problem isn't the converter box of the harness by using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test to see if voltage is feeding into the box on the left turn/stop circuit. If the 4-Way does not show power for the running lights then it could be the converter or it could be something with the vehicle. Consult the vehicle owners manual first to find the locations of the tow package wiring fuses or relays and check the ones related to the running lights. Since you are getting power when you put on the right turn and it is just dim, it sounds like the module is probably okay. I recommend cleaning the trailer connections with some sandpaper and then checking the turn signal again. Weight distribution systems are prone to making some odd noises, but a sound that would wake that dead is probably on the higher than normal side of things. The lift brackets of the Curt kit part # C17500 that you referenced can be greased and you can grease the zerk fittings on the bar holders of the head but beyond that Curt does not recommend greasing any of the other moving parts as the friction there is part of the sway control.

The first thing to check on your trailer is the main ground wire. After winter storage it is possible the trailer's main grounding point has corroded. A weak ground can cause all sorts of weird behavior from trailer lights.
Remove the ground ring terminal and sand the grounding point to remove all rust, grease, dirt, paint and primer to expose clean bare metal. Re-attach the ground wire ring terminal and apply dielectric grease # 11755 to block water and dirt.

Make sure the ground is attached to a clean bare metal surface and then recheck the lights. The first thing I would do is check the test the wire running into the powered converter. It is unlikely you have power here since I'm assuming your vehicle light isn't always on, but it doesn't hurt to check.

I assume you have the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System part # LC358590? If that is the case then there is a manual override on both the top of the motor and bottom of the leg for each jack. Since the jack is retracted then it will be best to use the manual override on top of the motor. On the top of the motor is a rubber plug. Remove the plug and insest a 3/8" drive (socket + extension), then turn.
