The # RM-676 Nighthawk tow bar would be a good choice, it includes the safety cables and the wire umbilical as well as the wiring connector that would install on the front of the Cherokee. From our experience the surge brake style supplemental braking systems are not up to par with the electric systems like the Roadmaster InvisiBrake # RM-8700. The braking power is just inadequate. We do have adapters by Blue Ox that are designed to connect your Jeep's D-rings with a Blue Ox tow bar. The Adapter Lugs # BX88296 will fit a bumper that has 7/8 inch diameter lug pins.
