The Rear View Safety Mirror with built in monitor, like on the Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera System - 4.3" Mirror Monitor # RVS-091407, is unfortunately not compatible with the OnStar system or other mirror functions.
If you want to keep the mirror functions of your OnStar system, I recommend using a separate rear view camera monitor like the dash mounted monitor in the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System - Built-in Backup Sensors, # RVS-5350.

I spoke with my contact at Hopkins about the Rear View Camera with Backup Sensors, # HM60195VA. He stated that the display on the monitor would be like if you were to turn around and look behind you rather than looking in the rear view mirror.
I have included a link to a video showing the operation of the camera for you to view. view full answer...

The Rear View Safety Backup Camera # RVS-83112-WIFI does not flip or reverse the image. It shows you the view from the camera face. The Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-816619N-NM will allow you to toggle between mirror image or normal image. With mirror image the image would be just like looking through your rearview mirror. So the left side of the mirror would show what is on the drivers side of the vehicle. In their normal mode the image would be as if you were standing behind the camera. This means the right side of your screen would become the drivers side of the vehicle. view full answer...

Both wedge-style and cam-lock types of rearview mirrors are illustrated in the linked photo. Both use a slide-in fitment for the mirror's base to engage the windshield mount. To remove the mirror in most applications it will need to slide up towards the vehicle's roof in order to disengage from the mount.
If there is no set screw or other fastener on your mirror mount then it may indeed be a cam-lock type. The CIPA Mirror # CM33000 is intended for wedge-mount applications and includes... view full answer...

The K-Source Vision System # KSVS-8 that you referenced does not come with an integrated mic like what your 2013 Dodge Durango mirror currently has. As a result, any functions that your original mirror had will be replaced by the functions of the K-Source system.
If you check out the attached video of the 2013 Durango that you referenced, at the 4:50 mark you can see the installer connect the wiring for the K-Source mirror and then tuck the original wiring for the OEM mirror up under the... view full answer...
Installing the K-Source system is generally the same from vehicle to vehicle in that you need to install the mirror, run wiring to the rear of the vehicle and install the camera and video connections. However, the amount of work that is needed to install the kit on each vehicle will be different. Interior body panels will have to be removed, wiring will be cut and spliced in the vehicle's wiring, and you may have to modify or cut exterior body parts to install the camera. I went ahead and called my contact at GCH Automotive Systems, and he confirmed that the tailgate camera will work in the rear view mirror (without a dash display), but it requires a lot of re-wiring to use the Custom Third Brake Light Camera # 3460006.The first step would be to look for factory camera wiring and he would have to hardwire it into the radio. This will work, but not with the T-harness. All of the wiring is found in the back of the radio plate. view full answer...
Yes, you can add a second camera to the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System part # RVS-778718N. If you have replaced a rearview mirror before, physically mounting the # CM32000 mirror in your vehicle is going to be very similar. If you have not, you would basically be doing the reverse of taking off the OEM mirror. For wedge style mirrors, you would just slide the mirror bracket down onto the windshield mount and for camlock style mirrors you would slide the bracket on sideways and turn it to lock it into place.
I have attached a video that explains the process. view full answer...
