Does the K-Source # KSVS-8 Replace the Integrated Mic in the OEM Mirror on a 2013 Dodge Durango

I watched your video on the installation of the K-Source rear view mirror backup camera system on a 2013 Dodge Durango. I have the same vehicle and I am wondering how you might have dealt with the replacement of handsfree mic that was built into the factory rear view mirror ? Thank you

The K-Source Vision System # KSVS-8 that you referenced does not come with an integrated mic like what your 2013 Dodge Durango mirror currently has. As a result, any functions that your original mirror had will be replaced by the functions of the K-Source system.
If you check out the attached video of the 2013 Durango that you referenced, at the 4:50 mark you can see the installer connect the wiring for the K-Source mirror and then tuck the original wiring for the OEM mirror up under the ceiling panel.
