  • Recommended Class II Trailer Hitch for a 2024 Honda CR-V Touring Hybrid
  • Brian, for a class II hitch I recommend checking out the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12169. Curt says this won't fit but we have actually had customers install this on their Hybrid CR-V (pictured below) with no issues so this hitch will work great. This hitch also has the 1 1/4" receiver you're looking for, a 3,500 lb towing capacity and a 350 lb tongue weight capacity.

  • Recommended Tire Chains For A 2022 Honda CR-V With 235/60R18 Tires
  • Hey Dennis thanks for your question. I can definitely point you in the right direction, although it sounds like you are already on the right track. Both of the options you mentioned, the Konig XG-12 Pro 247 # TH01594247 and the Pewag Servo RS # PWRS80 are going to fit the 235/60R18 tires on your 2022 Honda CR-V. Both will also be very similar as far as installation since they are drape-over style self-tensioning chains. A drape over chain is certainly what I would recommend for your situation....

  • Is It Ok If Fuse Connectors Are Bent Some on Curt Wiring Harness For 2018 Honda CR-V
  • Hey Bob, I can understand the install can be a bit cumbersome, and it's okay if the fuse holder tabs were bent just a bit installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56370 on your 2018 Honda CR-V. So long as nothing broke off, and it was inserted completely, it'll work for you. And zip ties aren't needed, but the converter does have double-sided tape that I would suggest trying to press against the side just so it doesn't rattle around and nothing comes loose. It isn't the...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2024 Honda CR-V
  • Hey Karen, the Curt hitch part # C13397 is the best hitch option for your 2024 Honda CR-V as it has the best towing capacities, is mostly hidden since only hitch opening hangs below rear bumper, and at this time is priced the best too. It'll work great with your Thule bike rack.

  • Will 2024 Honda CRF125F Big Wheel Fit Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier on 2014 Honda CR-V
  • Yes, the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier # UF48-979033 is capable of holding your 2024 Honda CRF125F Big Wheel. However, the # 13028 is designed to fit older Ford and GM trucks so you will not be able to install it on your 2014 Honda CR-V. The correct Curt hitch for your vehicle is the # C13119. I also recommend checking your owners manual to make sure your vehicle is capable of handling the weight from the dirt bike and the 50 lb bike carrier.

  • 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2015 Honda CRV
  • For a 2 inch hitch for your 2015 Honda CR-V that would work great with a 4 bike rack you'd want the Draw Tite part # 75742 which is a confirmed fit. Of all the 2 inch hitches we offer for your 2015 Honda CR-V this one has the best capacities and price. My favorite bike rack to recommend is the Thule Swing Away Bike Rack # TH9027XT because it can carry up to 4 bikes and can swing out and away from the rear of the vehicle to give you complete access to the rear cargo area with bikes loaded....

  • Best Way to Protect The Front Of a 2024 Chevrolet Trax When Flat Towing
  • The Tow Defender # RM-4700 you found is really our best option to protect the front of your 2024 Chevrolet Trax. This screen helps to deflect any road debris back down to the ground to keep it traveling under your Trax. This particular cover is designed to work on vehicles with Roadmaster quick connect base plates. If you have a different base plate you will want the Model # RM-4750. Something else you could look into for your 2018 Winnebago View is installing a full length mud flap on...

  • Will The Thule Pulse Large # TH615 Fit The Roof Rack On My 2023 Honda CR-V?
  • Hello Martin, thanks for providing those measurements. I can confidently say that yes, the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box # TH615 will fit on your 2023 Honda CR-V. The Pulse Cargo Box will fit crossbar spreads between 23-5/8" - 34-3/8", so you are good there. In order for the hatch to fully open you will need at least 46-3/8" from the middle of the front crossbar to the hatch. Since you have 47 or 48", the hatch will fully open with about an inch or so to spare.

  • Does the Draw-Tite Hitch Fit a 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport?
  • Sorry Eric but that is a no. All of the Draw-Tite Hitch's like item # 36597 that fit the 2024 Honda CR-V specifically exclude the hybrid models. I checked with Draw-Tite to confirm this information. Instead, I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13397 which has been confirmed to fit the Hybrid Sport model of the 2024 CRV. This means there won't be any concerns with your batteries and it will be covered by Curt's warranty since they have approved it. The Curt item # C13397...

  • Complete Flat Towing Setup for a 2013 Honda CR-V
  • To flat tow your 2013 CR-V behind your motorhome you're going to need quite a bit of stuff. To start off you'll need a base plate kit # BX2258, which will install onto your CR-V and provides a mounting point for a set of tow bars # e47ZR. Next, you're going to need a braking system # BLU37TR with the 12 volt outlet kit # RM-9332. This part is pretty self explanatory, it's just a braking system meant to stop your towed vehicle in proportion with your motorhome. Finally, you'll need a...

  • Correct Draw-Tite Hitch Fit for a 2023Honda CR-V Hybrid
  • Great question, Gene! The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76128 won't fit your 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid but you can use the Draw-Tite # DT79MR instead. I actually like the part # DT79MR over the one you referenced anyways because this style has a hidden crosstube so it not only looks better but it also has better clearance. Attached is an installation video and a photo of this hitch installed on a 2022 CR-V for you to check out!

  • High Low Adapter for Flat Towing 2013 Honda CR-V
  • Hey Richard, it sounds like you are looking for a high low adapter for when you will be flat towing your 2013 Honda CR-V. So the Blue Ox base plate kit part # BX2258 that fits your vehicle has a bracket height of 15-1/2 inches so you'd want an adapter that drops right at 5 inches or so. Keep in mind if you are within 3 inches of level you are okay at that point. For that the Curt part # C59KR would work great as it can provide a drop of 4 inches. We do ship to Canada as well ay.

  • Are Lights Submersible on CE Smith Multi Sport Plus Boat Trailer
  • Hi there Bob; you can definitely back into the water to launch your dinghy using the CE Smith Multi Sport Plus Boat and Kayak Trailer # CE48870. The hubs have a dust cap but aren't sealed so water can still get in them. To ensure no water gets in, I would replace that dust cap with the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB1980A-SS. As for the lights, they are fully submersible so no problem there at all, and there are no other limitations preventing the # CE48870 from getting backed into...

  • 5.30-12 Trailer Tires With 81mph Speed Rating For a Harbor Freight 1,720LB Super Duty Trailer
  • Typically it is the trailers tires which will restrict the maximum speed, so installing the Taskmaster 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire # TTWSF53012C should allow you to drive up to 81mph. I do see in the manual where it states to not exceed 45mph but it also is in reference to trailer sway. This makes me think the trailer does not have enough tongue weight when unloaded to prevent the trailer from swaying. I know several people have changed to the higher speed rated tires and drive well over...

  • Recommended Hitch and Wiring for 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring
  • For your 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13397. This Class III hitch features a bolt-on installation and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Then for the wiring you need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118741. This fits both the FWD and AWD models and will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. I attached some installation videos below for your reference.

  • Is It Better To Carry Bikes Behind Flat Towed Vehicle or Above Tow Bars?
  • To me it makes the most sense to put a Bike Rack # HLY64FR on the flat towed vehicle rather than above the tow bars. Especially on heavy e-bikes as they are difficult to lift that high onto the rack, but also as it only makes sense to have the rack on your car as you want to leave your motorhome at the campground and take your bikes to different trails in the area. This is much easier with your car when you get where you are going.
