Is It Ok If Fuse Connectors Are Bent Some on Curt Wiring Harness For 2018 Honda CR-V

Question:

We installed the wire harness for out 2018 Honda CRV yesterday. When I put in the fuse, I noticed the clips that the fuse pushed into were not lined up, and caused the fuse connectors to bend some. We did get it installed but are concerned now if the fuse will protect the harness. Also, our car panels did not match those shown on the video, so we couldnt install any zip ties to hold the harness. No room for our arms to fit!

Hey Bob, I can understand the install can be a bit cumbersome, and it's okay if the fuse holder tabs were bent just a bit installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56370 on your 2018 Honda CR-V.

So long as nothing broke off, and it was inserted completely, it'll work for you. And zip ties aren't needed, but the converter does have double-sided tape that I would suggest trying to press against the side just so it doesn't rattle around and nothing comes loose. It isn't the end of the world if you can't, but it would be the best thing to do if you can manage.
