When the # RM-2120 lamps are installed on your vehicle, they will operate completely independently of the lights on the towed vehicle.
As long as your RV has a properly installed 4-way trailer connector for the magnetic lamps to plug into, all should work just fine. You mentioned that the RV has a 'separate' lighting system, which would use an amber turn signal bulb or have an amber turn signal lens. A properly installed 4-way will be already converted so the turn signal and brake lamp... view full answer...
When using tire chains you will want to use on all four tires to get the maximum traction with your vehicle. If you only use two chains you will want to install them on the drive wheels of your vehicle. On a 4-wheel drive vehicle they would go on the back.
On your 2008 GMC Envoy the typical tire sizes that come on your vehicle is the 245/65R17 or the 245/60R18. The 245/65R17 tire size can use the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains for Light Trucks # PW2014C. If you have the 245/60R18 tire... view full answer...
To determine if the Curt trailer hitch mount cargo carrier # C18100 will clear the rear bumper on your 2008 GMC Envoy when the carrier is folded up you will need to take one important measurement. Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on the vehicle straight back to the distance required to clear the rear bumper on the Envoy.
If that measurement is less than 5 inches then the carrier will clear the bumper when folded. I have included a link to a help article with tips on taking... view full answer...
The Landing Pad, # Y00221, that you referenced will work with the existing tracks on your 2005 GMC Envoy. This landing pad is part of the Yakima Control Tower Roof Rack. You will also want to pick up the Round Crossbars, # Y00408, and the Control Towers, # Y8890027 (you will need 4). These additional items will complete the roof rack assembly for your vehicle.
You will not need to remove anything from your roof rack. I have attached a review video of this roof rack for you to check out.... view full answer...
I spoke with my contact over at Draw-Tite and he said that you can use the QSP hitch silencer # 63080 with a Reese SC weight distribution system. But you would want to take the cover off by removing the pin because it could cause interference in some cases.
This device will fit Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, and Reese 2 inch trailer hitches and we have confirmed that it also fits a Curt 2 inch trailer hitch. But it is not a fit for factory installed trailer hitches. view full answer...
Brake controllers are universal, and you can use just about any brake controller in any vehicle. So, yes, the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, item # 90885, will work with your 2006 GMC Envoy. However, we do not have a vehicle-specific brake controller adapter for your Envoy. If you have a factory tow package wiring harness, then you will need to hard wire this brake controller to the existing wires under the dash of your Envoy, see video link. If the tow package wiring is not present,... view full answer...
You came to the right place, I can help you figure out what bike rack will work for your Envoy.
Class compatibility really gets hairy when you have the smaller 1-1/4 inch hitches. If you have a Class I typically there are only certain bike racks that will fit and carry the weight you are looking for. I did some research and you most likely have a 2 inch hitch on your Envoy, but you will want to make sure, see linked article on determining hitch size.
Once we have determined hitch size... view full answer...
We have several options for a bolt on swivel jack for your trailer with 2 by 5 inch frame (see link). I would recommend the Pull Pin, Easy Swivel Trailer Jack with 8 inch Wheel - Sidewind - 1,500 lbs. by Dutton-Lainson, item # DL22800, for your trailer if the 1500 pound capacity is sufficient for your boat and trailer. These jacks are high quality and designed to fit square tongues up to 3 x 5 inches.

Provided that the 7-Way on your 2006 GMC Envoy is fully functional, then all of the pins on the Hopkins adapter, # HM47675, will work.
On the harness, the pin for using this unit with a 5-Way flat requires that the reverse light circuit on the 7-Way is attached and functions. This is the center pin on a 7-Way. If it is not working on the Envoy, you will need to run a wire from the back center pin on the 7-Way to a reverse light and tap into the wire there.
The 12 volt power socket on... view full answer...
Yes, the Hopkins back-up camera # HM50002 can fit basically any vehicle including your 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500HD so it would be a great option for you.
I attached an install video that shows it being installed on a 2013 Chevy Silverado just like yours for you to check out as well. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at K Source regarding the K-Source panoramic aspheric rearview mirror, part # KSRM1300 and he said it will fit over an On Star mirror on your Envoy. The only limitation may be limited access to one of the buttons on the right hand side of the mirror. It will still be accessible, just not as accessible as it would be if the mirror was not there.
I am including a link to a page that will list the clip-on universal rear view mirrors I have available. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Yakima about whether or not the RocketBox Pro 14, # Y07192 is water proof. She stated that none of the Yakima cargo boxes are water proof, but they are weather resistant. This means that if you have something that cannot get wet, you would need to put it in something that is water proof first, before loading it in the carrier.
This cargo box has clamps that hold on to the cross bars that run side to side on top of your 2006 GMC Envoy. It is made to fit as many... view full answer...
All of the wiring harness products for your 2006 GMC Envoy are shown on the linked page and all use the same type of round U.S. Car connector for installation. Please refer to the linked photo. All of these harnesses are the plug-and-play variety that require no cutting of splicing of wires.
The Curt harness # C55515 will plug into your U.S. Car connector and provide a 4-pole flat type trailer connector for stop, turn and tail light signals for a trailer.

I do have a solution for you but I checked with Thule and their SUP carriers will not fit your 2008 GMC Envoy factory roof rack. I checked other SUP carrier manufacturers and it is the same problem. The bar spread and capacity of the factory roof rack is not conducive for certain roof mounted accessories; in this case it is SUP carriers and pretty much everything else other than cargo boxes and even some of those won't work.
What I recommend is to use universal crossbar pads # RRRWP03... view full answer...
I suggest getting a 2 inch hitch receiver for your trailer. A universal one like this # C47CR will work well. You just need to weld it into place. I don't recommend putting the Swagman Original # S64400 in anything other than a hitch receiver. Luckily the Swagman Original is rated to be put on any vehicle you may have with a class III hitch or higher so you're good to use it on the back of your 14 foot trailer! view full answer...
If your 2002 GMC Envoy has the factory 7-way, which is what I think you were referring to by "7 wire cone toe", then it has the factory tow package and yes, you can replace it with the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 41155.
I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like of the Hopkins # 41155. view full answer...
Thank you for the photos!
It looks like you're trying to plug the Curt T-Connector # C56515 directly into the 7-Way blade connection on your 2003 GMC Envoy, when this wiring is actually designed for you to disconnect the current 7-Way connector from that US CAR connection. In the second photo you sent in (from behind the 7-Way) you can see where your OEM plug meets the back of the 7-Way connector - that's where you'll disconnect it.
Since I imagine you're wanting to have the 4-Way connector... view full answer...

As you can see in the attached review video, the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style part # S64650 will fit perfectly into the trailer hitch receiver on your 2005 GMC Envoy. There will be no clearance issues with the rear bumper and the hatch will be able to be opened when the bikes are off and the upright is folded down. The only thing you need to do to fold the upright bar down is pull a pin which you can also see in the attached review video. This process will not require any tools. view full answer...
