It certainly could be possible to go with a deeper 6" rim. The main factor we need to consider is the distance between the inside of the tire and the frame. A wider tire/wheel will sit closer to the frame on the inside, and we want to be sure there is no risk of anything touching or rubbing as the suspension moves. Our rule of thumb is that you want at least 1" between the tire and the frame.
