I checked 2 different sources for the factory roof rack capacity of your 2014 Chevy Tahoe. One said 150 pounds and the other said 164 pounds. I prefer to err on the side of caution so I recommend sticking to 150 pounds. There also might be a sticker on the roof rack itself that lists the capacity.

The distance from the bottom edge of the bracket to the top of the receiver tube collar is right at 2-3/4".
