When you get to the small 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receivers there tends to be more restrictions on what they can accomplish due to their lighter weight capacities.
Unfortunately there are no multi-purpose, or special ball mounts that can be used with a 1-1/4 inch receiver. You will only be able to use the regular ball mounts.

For your 2007 Chevy Equinox you'll first need to install a 4-way trailer wiring harness part # C56012 and then convert it to a 5-way with the adapter # 20036 and you'd be set. Now to install the 5-way you'll just plug it into the 4-way and then run the extra wire of the kit to the reverse light circtuit of your Equinox. This is the only and easiest solution.

I recommend the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter # C57672, 4-Way to 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat. What I like about this is that it provides you the needed 7 way but extends out the existing 4 way making both available. Please note that while this will allow the 7 way to plug into vehicle it will still only support the lighting functions of the 4 way. Unfortunately there are no suspension enhancements available for the 2019 Chevy Equinox that would help combat rear end sag on your vehicle while carrying these heavy bikes.
