Yes, the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT47GR is a great option for carrying a bike rack with your 2023 Chevy Bolt EV - you just have to make sure the bike rack is rated for use on a Class I hitch receiver, and you don't load more than 2 on the rack. Class I receivers are weaker which is why those limitations are set in place by all of the hitch manufacturers.
If you don't already have a bike rack I recommend checking out the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack # KU74FR because... view full answer...

No, the Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH910XT will not fit your 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV. According to the Thule fit information guide, "all instances of this vehicle come with a factory spoiler which is not strong enough to take the weight of our strap carriers." We do not have any trunk style mount carriers confirmed to work with the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV.
You could use a hitch mounted bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # HLY94FR. If you... view full answer...

The correct Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV is part # DT64GR. This is a bolt-on hitch with a 2" receiver which can be used for towing or hauling bike racks/cargo carriers.
The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24956 is for the EV, not EUV which is different. view full answer...
As the only changes for the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV is a new paint color was added and the price changes from the 2022 model year there is no reason you will not be able to use the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7359 on your vehicle. This receiver uses a 2" opening and is rated for up to 300lbs of tongue weight and 2,000lbs trailer towing. Be sure to verify the limits from Chevrolet for your Bolt and do not exceed the lower of these 2 sets of numbers. view full answer...
After checking with multiple manufactures, the only option you have for your roof would be these SeaSucker Monkey bars # 298-SX6000B. You may need to adjust them a tad to get the 4-8 inches beyond the sucker that the Thule Hullavator # TH898. Unfortunately, this is the only way to get roof bars on your 2017 Chevrolet Bolt, but it's better than nothing! view full answer...
For your 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV, I recommend the Thule Evo WingBar System which is composed of part # TH711420, part # TH480R, and part # THKIT1857. This system has aero crossbars which will work to reduce wind noise and drag. It also has t-slots which will allow for the use of most aftermarket t-slot accessories. view full answer...
The installed weight of the Draw-Tite is 25 lbs, while the EcoHitch weight is 32 lbs. Both of these hitches do fit your 2020 Chevy Bolt EV, but between the two the best option is the EcoHitch, which is the following part number:
- EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7359
The reason the EcoHitch # 306-X7359 is the best for your Bolt EV is because it has a 2" receiver, compared to the 1-1/4" receiver of the Draw-Tite # 24956; the Draw-Tite is also a Class I hitch. Additionally,... view full answer...
We have a universal style of trailer wiring harness that is a fit for your 2017 Chevy Bolt EV that doesn't require any splicing. What you would want is the # 119250KIT which instead of requiring hardwiring uses sensors that grab the wires without piercing them. We do not have any custom fit options for your vehicle. view full answer...
Thank you for the photos, and I do see that metal piece there interfering with the Curt Hitch # C11457 on your 2020 Chevy Bolt EV. I can tell you that we have not seen this before, and I called Curt who also said it's something they have not had any customers reach out to them about it and have never come across this issue.
That is a bracket for a harness which looks to be sticking out more than it should, possibly causing interference. Curt told me the best thing to try and do was use... view full answer...
The only trailer hitch we currently have confirmation of fit for a 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11457 which I confirmed by reaching out to Curt directly. The Curt Trailer Hitch is an excellent option for the Chevrolet Bolt EV as it offers a bolt-on fit with no cutting or drilling required. It has a hidden design so only the receiver tube is shown which makes for a very clear install look as you can see in the attached photo.
The Curt Trailer Hitch is... view full answer...
The trailer hitch options for a 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV all require minor trimming of an underbody fascia panel. That said, this won't even be visible from outside the vehicle. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11457 however does require the least amount of trimming so this is what I recommend.
I have attached a photo below. view full answer...
It is unlikely that the hatch on your 2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV will be able to open with the Thule Helium Pro 2 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting - Aluminum # TH9042PRO installed in the Draw-Tite # 24956 without tilting or removing the bike rack. This will be the same for any of the trailer hitch receivers for your vehicle.
The # TH9042PRO does tilt but requires the bikes to be removed from the rack, and does allow most rear hatches to open though we have not had a chance to try... view full answer...
The hitch you purchased from us last year for your 2018 Chevrolet Bolt EV is the Draw-Tite Class I hitch # 24956. Class I hitches are a light-duty type that can handle the load of only 2-bikes, so most likely the rack you have is not a Class I-rated model but is instead a Class II and that is why it will not fit properly in the hitch.
In this hitch you must use a Class I-compatible rack of no more than 2-bike capacity like those shown on the linked page. The combined weight of the rack... view full answer...
I have a great hitch for you!
It's the Draw-Tite Class I, part # 24956. This has a 1-1/4" receiver with a maximum towing capacity of 2000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight of 200 pounds. I've linked to a video installation of this hitch, and you will see in the video that it has a hitch pin hole recessed far enough to accommodate the Helium Pro.
The Helium Pro, part # TH9042PRO, fits a 1-1/4" receiver like the Draw-Tite by design. The piece used to adapt it to 2" receivers is a separate... view full answer...
For your 2017 Chevy Bolt you'll need to switch over to the Yakima roof rack system as Thule doesn't have a fit kit for your vehicle. I really like the Yakima JetStream crossbars since they have the aero-style design and a rubber strip in the top channel that you don't have to trim to install track-mount accessories. For your application you'll need the following parts:
50" JetStream Crossbars - # Y00425
BaseLine Towers - # Y28TR
BaseClips - # Y06123 and # Y06181
Lock Core Kit - # Y07204... view full answer...
