If you are having trouble feeding the security strap of the Yakima FullBack, part # Y02634, through the top of your hatch, then you can feed it through the bottom.
The security strap is not meant as another point for anchoring. It's simply there as an anti-theft strap that will keep the rack from coming loose if someone tries to pull it off. When we installed the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75940 on both a 2016 and a 2017 Audi Q5 we found the ground clearance (from ground to inside top of the receiver) was 15". Even though we haven't had a chance to install this trailer hitch on a 2015 model the measurement should be really close to that if not the exact same.

Sounds like U-Haul either didn't install your wiring kit properly or they installed the wrong kit and don't want to be on the hook for it. The best installation instructions I can give you for installing the # C59236 on your 2015 Audi Q5 would be to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the wiring harness of the taillights you have on your vehicle and then wire up the # C59236 accordingly by function.

According to step 9 of the installation instructions, a 3-1/4 inch section of the fascia would need to be trimmed but on some models of the Q5, we've found that no trimming is required at all which is why we recommend dry fitting the bumper cover at the end of the install to determine how everything fits together.

The Draw-Tite # 76183 calls for the beam to be removed and not reinstalled because their engineering shows that having the hitch in place provides just as much protection as the bumper beam. The install reuses the existing factory bolts.

Because the car manufacturers can vary the vehicle wire colors from year to year, we typically tell folks to wire by function, not by color.

The Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap # 18050 is usually used on Class I or Class II hitches to help distribute the weight on them. Since your hitch # C13136 for your 2013 Ausi Q5 is a Class III hitch, then it does not need the stabilizing strap.
