Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2010 Audi Q5 With Tow Package
Question:
Hello, is there a wiring harness for the Q5 that I plug into the tow package control module or do I ignore the the control module and tap into the LED tail light feed? Is the unit drawing power from the LED feed or from the battery directly while only taking an on off signal from the lights?

Since your Q5 has the factory tow package, you can use the Hopkins # HM40975 which would connect to the round US Car connector located behind the rear bumper. Take a look at the linked video which will show the trailer connector being installed on a different vehicle. Even though it's being installed on a different vehicle, you can see what the connector looks like.
