For your 2017 Audi A4 Allroad Wagon I recommend the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT which has a module to protect your factory wiring from any back feed and draws power directly from your vehicles battery to prevent overloading of the factory wiring.
This will give you the 4-way connector needed to power the lights on your Malone Xtra Light Kayak Trailer and will offer the most reliability and protection.

The Thule WingBar Evo and the Yakima JetStream crossbar systems are definitely top of the line when it comes to roof racks for the raised rails on your 2020 Audi A4 Allroad. Since you are looking for ease of install and the best wind drag and noise reduction out there I've got to go with the WingBar Evo system on this one:
Thule 50" WingBar Evo Crossbars - Black # TH711320 or Silver # TH711300
Thule Evo Raised Rail Feet - # TH710401
Thule One-Key System - # TH450400 (optional for extra... view full answer...
We do have 2 inch hitches that fit your 2021 Audi A4 Allroad like with the EcoHitch hitch part # 306-X7370 for a totally hidden and removable setup. When not in use the lower hitch opening can be removed so that it's totally out of sight.
Then for trailer wiring that requires zero splicing we have the part # 119250KIT as well. view full answer...
Inno states that the Inno Wedge 660 Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRM660WH that you referenced can carry up to two surf boards and the 665 # INBRM665BK can carry up to three. The interior dimensions of the 660 are 72" long x 25-5/8" wide x 8-1/2" tall and the 665 has dimensions of 72" long x 25-5/8" wide x 13-3/8" tall. While we don't have experience specifically with your surf boards these should work really well for you and give you the more aerodynamic shape you want too. view full answer...
We just confirmed with our contact at Stealth that the tongue weight capacity of the Stealth hitch part # 391AUDA417 that you referenced is 400 lbs. view full answer...
For your 2024 Audi A4 Allroad I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11448. This is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. It features a bolt-on installation and also comes with a limited lifetime warranty. The hitch has a 200 lb max tongue weight to handle your bikes and bike rack. You will also need to make sure you have a Class I compatible rack like the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack # KU74FR view full answer...
Generally, most roof racks are going to impede the operation of a sunroof unless it retracts directly under/into the roof panel. Additionally, manufacturers don't typically test for this when fitting and also do not recommend opening the sunroof with the bars attached because of the amount of wind noise that occurs with the crossbars attached. You can test this for yourself to see if the sun roof sticks up above the sides of your raised side rails when opened, and as long as it doesn't,... view full answer...
The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 306-X7370 is considered Class 1, but it is indeed compatible with a bike rack and it does not require only trailer loads. However, you can also use your current Curt hitch receiver with a different bike rack that fits the 1-1/4" opening. The Curt # C11448 hitch receiver that is confirmed to fit your vehicle has instructions that state the following: All non-trailer loads applied to this product must be supported by stabilizing... view full answer...
For your 2018 Audi A4 Allroad I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11448 which is a confirmed fit.
If you will be using this hitch for a bike rack or other accessory, the Curt # 18050 is recommended to help stabilize the accessory.
If you are doing some light towing with this hitch, I recommend the Curt Class II Drawbar # C45521 for the ball mount, # F-4 for the pin and clip, and then a hitch ball like # A-80 for a 1-7/8 inch diameter or # A-82... view full answer...
The Thule OutWay Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH45JV will fit your 2019 Audi A4 Allroad just fine and will work with the plastic spoiler located at the top of your hatch. As with any trunk mount bike rack, there will be some sway. But the Thule OutWay Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH45JV does include a couple accessories (Support spacer and Stabilizing strap) that help reduce sway issues.
Overall, I think the Thule OutWay Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH45JV is a great option got your... view full answer...
You should not have to remove the rear fascia on your 2018 Audi A4 Allroad to install Draw-Tite trailer hitch # DT24950 but it would help you have more space to work if you did. There aren't any specific instructions for that though.
It might be helpful to have someone pull rearward on the fascia just enough to give you space to put the plate with both bolts in it into position. That way you would not have to remove the fascia to get the required space. That would be the first thing I... view full answer...
While there is not a lock for your removable hitch receiver, it is incredibly specific. It is useless without the rest of the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2", part # 306-X7370. It also looks like a traditional hitch receiver, so few if any people would think to investigate this hitch receiver further. At a quick glance you cannot tell the hitch receiver is removable. If you wanted to have some more peace of mind, you can always lock the hitch bike rack to the safety... view full answer...
The Draw Tite Hitch part # DT24950 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Audi A4 and would work well. To find an installer you'll want to find a local mechanic to you who has a good reputation and have them do it since Draw Tite does not have a list of installers and for the most part trailer hitch installs are pretty basic for mechanics. view full answer...
The Thule Raceway Pro # TH65JV is a fit for your 2018 Audi A4 Allroad and weighs 40 lbs. Due to it's clamp design it can easily grab bike frames with sloping top tubes like what you mentioned.
We won't be able state exactly how high the platform would be from the ground. view full answer...
For your 2021 Audi A4 Allroad I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo roof rack system. This rack consists of the # TH711320 and # TH710401. It has a 150 lb capacity which is more than enough for the Kestral 170T. The WingBar Evo crossbars have an aerodynamic TrailEdge design which will reduce drag, wind noise, and vibration. If you wish to add locks you can use the # TH450400.
I have several recommendations for kayak carriers depending on what style and features you want. For a J-style carrier... view full answer...
The Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver like part # 391AUDA417 which is a fit for a 2019 Audi A4 Allroad only comes with a 2" receiver. That said, you can purchase the 1-1/4" receiver separately with the 1-1/4" Receiver Attachment for Stealth Hitches Rack Receiver or Trailer Hitch part # 391RR1. The larger receiver option will still be nice to have as it will expand the mount of hitch mounted accessories you can use if you decide to upgrade. view full answer...
I called Stealth Hitches to confirm. I am happy to inform you that the Hidden Hitch for your 2017 Audi A4 Allroad, part # 391AUDA417, will still allow you to use the kick function. They will not interfere at all. view full answer...
According to Thule, the # TH711420 53 inch WingBar Evo crossbars are the longest crossbars that will work on your vehicle. Thule crossbars have a slot in the underside that the roof rack feet fit into. The slots don't run all the way across the bottom of the crossbar, so if you go too long with the crossbars, the feet won't match up with the slots.
Yakima offers JetStream crossbar that would allow longer (60 inch) bars. If you wanted to go that route, you'd use the # Y00426 bars. You'd... view full answer...
The Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier, part # Y04073, can actually carry two kayaks on its own. The only additional thing needed to carry your second kayak on your 2018 Audi A4 Allroad is another set of straps, like etrailer's Cam Buckle Cinch Straps, part # E98876-4. I've linked to a video installation of how to do this.
However, if you would rather use two of the JayLows for a more balanced look, then you can definitely do that. These carriers are designed to leave plenty of space for mounting... view full answer...
