  • Should I Follow the Specs for Tire Pressure in Owners Manual of My Trailer or On the Actual Tires
  • You'll always want to follow the specs that are listed directly on the tires themselves. It sounds like you've got the Loadstar ST185/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire - Load Range D # AM1ST79, which are designed to be run at 65psi and have a capacity of 1710-lbs per tire; these tires are well rated for a camper that has a GVWR of almost 2000-lbs, so you've got nothing to worry about.

  • Parts Needed to Charger Lithium Batteries on Trailer While Traveling
  • There is a way to accomplish what you are needing to do. But the 7-way isn't going to play a role in charging your battery and doesn't care if the battery is lithium or not. The hot wire coming from your 7-way would only ever be enough to trickle charge your battery. If you are wanting to charge your battery while under way you will need a DC-DC charger like the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D. You would also want a battery isolator like the Redarc Smart Start Battery...

  • Determining The Correct Replacement Axle For 2012 Aliner Classic Camper
  • It is possible that the Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Idler Hubs - EZ-Lube - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 72" Long - 2,000 lbs # 20545I-EZ-72-15 you were looking at will fit your 2012 Aliner Classic Camper but the only way to be sure it to measure your current axle, and find the axle rating of your current axle. Starting with the measurements you will need to know the hub face to hub face and spring center to spring center measurements. For example the # 20545I-EZ-72-15 has a hub face to hub face...

  • Recommended RV Cover For A 2018 Aliner Ranger 12 Pop-Up Camper
  • For your 2018 Aliner Ranger 12 Camper I recommend the Adco Polypropylene RV Cover for Pop-Up Camper # 290-2894. This polypropylene cover is rated for use in all climates, as you can see in the attached climate map. It is constructed of a lightweight non-abrasive fabric that protects against moderate sun, dust, and water and won't scratch the buddle window on the roof of your camper. The cinch ropes at the front and rear of the cover remove slack and reduce billowing and the weighted straps...

  • City Water Replacement Valve For 2020 Aliner Scout-Lite Camper
  • Nice question, lets check and see what I found: **RV City Water Inlet with Brass Check Valve - 1/2" MPT - Aluminum Flange - Surface Mount # 37262185. Yes, it will work. The city water connection or inlet is more of a universal part and not a brand specific item. You can mount it as long as you make sure you have the proper connections and plumbing know how. If you want this to replace your old or damaged inlet just make sure you follow the specs and directions or have a plumber install...

  • Determining Which Replacement Bearing, Race, and Seal For Spindle Using 07100 Bearing
  • The correct replacement bearing for your Timken 07100 is the # L44643, but to determine the correct race and grease seal you will need to measure your hub. As long as the outside diameter of your current race is 1.980" you will be able to use race # L44610, but for the grease seal you will need to use digital calipers like # PTW80157 to precisely measure the spindle where the grease seal rides and the hub where the grease seal rides as shown in the included diagram. If you can provide...

  • Two-Burner Propane Cooktop Recommendation for a 2018 Aliner Expedition Camper
  • For your application I recommend checking out the Cadac 2 Cook 3 Pro Deluxe Camping Stove # FR96EJ which has the 2 burners as well as the grill and griddle cook tops for different types of meals. The only propane stove we have that's designed to fit "on" a trailer is the Camco Olympian 5500 Stainless Steel # CAM57305 that has the mounting bracket for a channel on the back side of it. If you don't have the rail then you also need part # CAM57268 to get this installed on your Aliner.

  • 2020 Aliner Expedition Suspension Upgrade for Dexter 3,500 lb Torsion Axle
  • Based on the specifications that Dexter gave me for your axle, your axle is a 3,500 lbs torsion axle. We do not carry torsion axles, so the best upgrade for your trailer would be an axle-less suspension system. The axle-less system will be far easier to install and set up compared to a traditional straight-axle and leaf spring suspension system. It also provides more ground clearance and better ride quality. Since there is no axle connecting them, it allows the springs to absorb road shock...

  • Will The Pop-Up Camper Latch and Catch # 37210825 Rust Over Time?
  • The Pop-Up Camper Latch and Catch # 37210825 is zinc coated to resist rust. In the event the coating becomes scratched or the zinc wears through from use it will begin to rust on the exposed steel. We currently do not carry any options in stainless steel which would be the most rust resistant option.

  • Can Dexter Lift Kit Fit 2017 Aliner Expedition Camper
  • Hey Julie, in the past we have had customer with a 2017 Aliner camper just like yours verify that they had Dexter 2,500 Torflex axles like what the Dexter lift kit part # K71-707-01 fit. Now this kit can't work with the 3 inch high profile brackets which aren't able to determine if your camper has those or not for sure so I would recommend measuring to be sure. This means the bracket that attaches the axle to the frame of trailer can't be 3 inches or higher.

  • Replacement Bearings For 2013 Aliner Expedition Camper
  • I spoke with someone at Aliner and they said the replacement bearings for the 2013 Aliner Expedition Camper are the same as the 2014 model. You will have to measure the bearings on your wheel. I will include a diagram that explains how to measure the bearings, races, and seals. For example, if you have Replacement Trailer Hub Bearing - L68149, part # L68149, the inner diameter of the bearing is 1.378". I have included a product description link, video review link, and a weblink to the...

  • Lift Kit for #10 Dexter Torflex Axle on Light Trailer
  • From what I can see in the photo it looks like you have a Dexter Torflex torsion axle, the #10 Torflex axle with a 2,500 lb capacity. Based on that the correct lift kit is the Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-01. However, it is important to make sure your trailer does not have 3" high-profile brackets. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.

  • What Other Grease Can the LubriMatic Disc/Drum Brake and Wheel Bearing Grease Be Mixed With
  • The LubriMatic Disc/Drum Brake and Wheel Bearing Grease part # L11380 is a lithium-complex based grease. Lithium complex grease like this is compatible with most types of grease so you just need to make sure what you have isn't Barium, Bentonite Clay, or Conventional Polyurea. If you currently have one of these complexes of grease, you just need to thoroughly clean out all of the old grease before repacking with # L11380.

  • Recommended RV Bumper Hitch for 2021 Aliner Expedition Camper
  • I believe the 2021 Aliner Expedition Camper has a 2" by 4" bumper. Providing your bumper can support the attachment and weight, I highly recommend an RV Bumper Hitch, # C19101. This is a very cost effective way of adding a hitch to a small camper for attachments such as bike racks or cargo carrier, # e98874. This has a maximum tongue weight of up to a full 350 lbs. If you do not already have a bike rack that is rated for use on a travel trailer, please let us know and we will be glad...

  • Replacement Brake Light Lens for a 2012 Aliner Ranger 7859
  • Thanks for reaching out, Jessica! In the past we've had a replacement lens for the brake lights on an Aliner trailer, but those lens have been discontinued so the best option for you is to completely replace the light assemblies and for that I recommend the following from Optronics: - Driver Side # RVSTLB61 - Passenger Side # RVSTLB60 These measure 8-11/16" long x 3-3/16" tall x 2-1/8" deep and are pretty standard for trailers. We don't have a cover for your AC unit, and we also don't...

  • Replacement Bearings, Races, Grease Seals & Bearing Buddy Protectors 2012 Aliner Expedition Camper
  • As your 2012 Aliner Expedition has a GVWR of 3,500lbs you most likely have the standard #84 spindle which will use the Bearing Kit # BK2-100. If you can find the axle tag or serial number stamped on your axle I can confirm this is what you have with the axle manufacturer. Otherwise you might pull one of your hubs apart to verify you have the following bearings and grease seals. Inner Bearing # L68149(Inner Diameter 1.378") Outer Bearing # L44649(Inner Diameter 1.063") Grease Seal # 58846(Inner...

  • The only difference between your current Loadstar tires and the Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # AM10210 is going to be bias vs. radial and potentially a different load rating. When it comes to size, these tires will be the same and will fit on the same rims you already have. The Karrier # AM10210 has a maximum load of 1,650 lbs at 70 psi and a max speed of 81 mph. This radial ply tire is designed for trailers towed on the highway giving you longer tread life and...
