I have confirmed with Curt that the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C22HR does fit all models of the 2022 Acura MDX including the S model.
If you need a wiring harness you will want the Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # C27BR.
To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and... view full answer...
To lock your Kuat Transfer bike rack TS03G to your 2016 Acura MDX there's a locking threaded hitch pin. Use part # HLT.

I do have a few options for you to carry a recumbent trike on your SUV.
The first option would be to use the SeaSucker Roof Bike Rack for Trikes # 298-BD1005. You will simply need to place the Vacuum Cups in the appropriate places on your roof and pump them up until the orange band disappears. This has a 45 lbs weight capacity.
Another option would be to use the Yakima Boa Roof Mounted Bike Carrier # Y02065 on your roof rack. For this to be compatible with your trike you will also need... view full answer...
I recommend replacement bracket, # 7686, and replacement wiring harness, # 7894, for your Prodigy brake controller, # 90185.
For a 4 to 6 way adapter you will want the install kit for a 6 way, # ETBC6. You may also need a 4 way. I recommend # 118336.

You're on the right track; to add the Curt brake controller to your 2010 Acura MDX you'll need to add the 4-way as well as 7-way that comes with the # ETBC7. You will first install the 4-flat, which will activate your trailer's lighting functions, and you'll then plug that into the 7-way that comes with the # ETBC7, which also gives you the wiring, circuit breakers, and rest of the hardware needed for installation. The exact parts you need are the following:

The Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 will provide you a 7 round pin for your 2018 Acura MDX. This kit includes everything you need to install an electric trailer brake controller and 7-way connector. If there's not an existing 4-way flat on your vehicle, you can purchase one separately. The 4-way # 118628 is required for you to install the # ETBC7. The plug-in location is behind the driver side trim panel.
The Exterior mounted plug on some or all models... view full answer...
We do have all the parts you will need to install a 7-way on your 2012 Acura MDX but currently there is only a custom fit 4-Way # 118424. The Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 will allow you to install a trailer brake controller inside the cab of your MDX or you can use a wireless controller like the Curt Echo # C51180 with adding the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L. For an in cab controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR as it has a small control knob... view full answer...
I recommend looking at the Stainless Steel Locking, Anti-Rattle Threaded Hitch Pin for 2" Trailer Hitches # SR25219, which is going to give you the security you need and does a great job at eliminating rattle on hitch mounted accessories. There really isn't an inconspicuous locking hitch pin, but the black lock body on this pin does a fairly good job of blending in with your hitch.
I've linked a review video of this locking hitch pin for you to check out. view full answer...
I didn't find any order history for wiring for your 2008 Acura MDX but if you do have a 4-pole kit installed such as one of the compatible items like # C56038 shown on the linked page then we sure can help you with upgrading that wiring format to the 7-way type like # HM40975-11998.
The one item you will use is our 7-Way install kit # ETBC7. This all-inclusive kit has everything you need, from the 7-way socket to the wiring, connectors and circuit breakers. This will give you a fully-functioning... view full answer...
In order to control the brakes on your trailer, you will need a brake controller. Since you're going to be installing the Tekonsha # 118289 on your 2015 Acura MDX, you don't already have the towing package in place, which would mean that you'd need to hard-wire most brake controllers in.
Because of this, I recommend using a wireless brake controller like the Curt Echo # C51180, which won't require any wiring of the controller into the cab of the vehicle since it simply plugs into the... view full answer...
The best way to determine the size of bearing buddy needed would be to take a highly accurate measurement of your hub bore using a digital caliper. I have edited a photo for you that shows this dimension.
If you happened to know the reference number from your outer wheel bearings, the proper bearing protector could be determined.
If you would care to reply with either the hub bore dimension or the outer bearing number, I would be happy to suggest a bearing protector for you. view full answer...
In your 2015 Acura MDX with a factory-installed 7-way wiring setup the best trailer brake controller to use is the Curt Echo # C51180.
You will not have to crawl under the dash to find a connector (there isn't one on this vehicle) since the Echo offers wireless operation and simply plugs into the the Acura's existing 7-Way. The controller then gets paired to your smart phone and this is what is used to adjust any settings or activate the manual override. Otherwise the Echo will automatically... view full answer...
The 2003 Acura MDX is not per-wired for a brake controller so you will need a few things in order to install a brake controller starting with a 4- to 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7. This will provide the 7-Way and the wiring and accessories to install the brake controller. I have included some links that explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
For a brake controller, I recommend the P2, # 90885. This controller is very popular because it is reliable, easy to set up, and easy to use. view full answer...
We aren't going to have an exact OEM replacement, however you could just use the Hopkins Universal Mounting Bracket for 7-Way and 6-Way Trailer Connectors # HM48625 which is a universal bracket that'll work just the same.
This bracket measures 3 3/8" across, 3 7/8" tall and the mounting holes on the top of the bracket are 2 1/4" center to center. view full answer...
If your 2014 Acura MDX did not come with the factory tow package then you would likely need to get the relay from an Acura dealer to install trailer wiring harness # C56192. It is possible though that an auto parts store would have an aftermarket relay. You can check your vehicle owners manual for the relay location to see if it is present on your model. view full answer...
When it comes to installing a trailer hitch on your 2023 Acura MDX I recommend The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e27KR. This trailer hitch has an extra coating of rust resistant paint that will allow it to survive the elements better then the other hitches that are confirmed for your vehicle.
The trailer hitch has a maximum tongue weight up to 900 pounds, so you will have no issues hauling your 3 bikes to the park. When it comes to hauling your bikes around The Thule Hitching Post... view full answer...
If any harness is going to work, it is the # 3070-P, since it fits the 2014 Honda Pilot which is the Honda cousin of the MDX. But it has not been officially confirmed to fit the MDX so I cannot guarantee that it will fit.
I recommend hardwiring in a controller using wiring kit # 5506. You would remove the wire in the 7 oclock position attached to the back of the factory 7-Way. You would then install the wire included with # 5506 in its spot (the included wire actually has 2 wires in it,... view full answer...
I have a solution for you but the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13146 does not fit the 2022 Acura MDX it fits the previous model years. For your 2022 MDX you will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C22HR. This hitch receiver is custom fit and designed specifically for your vehicle. Which means, you will have no issues with your 20" diameter compact mini donut. It is a class III hitch and has a maximum gross trailer weight of 6,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 900 lbs.
