Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 200 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 100 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 70 lumens.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the ARC Eco Series Red LED Taillight Bulbs with the Wedge Base. It's for a quantity of two lights. Now, these bulbs will easily upgrade your factory taillight bulbs using these red LED bulbs. They are a compact bulb design.
Uses automotive-grade LED chips. And they are sized similar to the OEM bulbs to ensure that there's no fitment or clearance issues. They do use a diffuses 360 degree lens, creates a nice, smooth all around illumination. And the base on it is a wedge base, mounts into a compatible fixture. These are durable aluminum construction, prevents overheating.
And the contact points at the bottom here, these are polarity reversible contact points. Basically, what that means is when you plug it in, either way, if you plug it in this way, plug it in that way, they'll still work, tt doesn't matter the polarity. Now, I am gonna hook this up to some 12 volt power to show how bright it is in the color. But I wanna go through for a few specs. First, again, we mentioned the color is red.
Quantity is for two bulbs. They do use 23 LEDs per bulb. The light output is 600 lumens per bulb. The power draw at 12 volts is 0.65 amps. Voltage, nine volts to 16 volts DC.
And these bulbs have an IP 67 rating, which means they are waterproof. So, what I'm gonna do now is go ahead and hook our connectors up to both contact points. Positive and negative, as I just said, doesn't matter which one's which. Go ahead and turn on our 12 volt power. And there you can see, with the power on, the bright red bulb light up. I'm gonna go ahead and turn off the overhead lights so you can see it better. You can see how bright that is. 23 LEDs per bulb. Just zoom out, show you from a distance how bright it is. Very bright. And these are the full red LEDs. We'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. Turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on the ARC Eco Series Red LED Taillight Bulbs with the Wedge Base.
