Perfectly as described, Box was a heavy hitch and the box must have been damaged in shipping so it was a little delayed. You can't mess up a forged hitch it still is in excellent condition.

Still good bought for the correct height and capacity as parts store ones dont have the capacity rating for todays trucks. A new 3500 can bumper pull over 20k. Depends on , extension, etc. you would be surprised reading capacity of some of the hitches out there and how low they are.

by:

This simple ball mount will get the job done. It's a solid casting so it weighs a lot.

by:

I bought this to use it for the 3 inch rise it provided.
I have a lowered truck and towing my car carrier would prove to be difficult at times. The 3 inch raised that this provided made the trailer stay in a more manageable position.
The heavy solid metal construction is of extremely high-quality. I would not have any hesitation towing something at the rated 16,000 pound capacity.

by:

Great ball mount. I've had another like it in service for 8 years. Still like
new/no wear. I'm getting another, because new truck hitch receiver is higher. A+++

by:

Good and stout. Will make tailgater’s think twice.

by:

Nice, great quality and fast delivery. Thanks eltrailer!

by:

Great product, exactly as advertised in their website. Etrailer is the go to company for towing accessories. Even shipped with the ball was cheaper than I found it locally for just the receiver portion. Great customer service. Thanks,

Still the best solution for your towing needs.

This trailer ball mount is very beefy, fits tightly into the hitch receiver and it has the right amount of rise for my boat trailer. Very pleased with this product.

by:

The Draw-Tite Ball Mount that I purchased came exactly as described, and works great. Great product, very nice people doing a good job !

by:

I own a 31ft Cabin Cruiser boat that weighs around 10,000lbs and the trailer itself weighs over 2000lbs. Every time I would pull the boat out of the water the back of my truck would squat a little and the trailer jack would occasionally scrape the ground. So I purchased this Hitch Ball and mounted it upside down so that the ball is higher than the bumper of the truck and now the trailer is level when cruising down the interstate fully loaded.

This Hitch ball is very heavy and completlely solid! I dont hear any noises coming from the hitch at all.

Etrailer had the best price around and will always contine shopping with them anytime I need any trailer parts

by:

A heavy brute, a little loose, but that can be remedied with electrical tape, this will haul anything I will ever need and then some.

Everything is working perfectly and if needed in the future, I will return, thank you

by:

As always etrailer shipped a great product on time. I planned on using the hitch to haul 5-6 facecords of wood on a 16 ft car trailer. I have used the hitch 6 or 7 times now and it works great along with the hitch and i ball i also ordered from etrailer.

by:

I found the etrailer website to be incredibly helpful as I was needing some education on trailer hitches and towing in general. I picked out my hitch assembly, placed the order, then was contacted by etrailer immediately that my order was received, processed, and being shipped. Outstanding service!

I am also impressed with how available they are for questions and help with orders.

I plan on doing a lot of business with etrailer. Not often does a company makes it customers feel valued.

by:

This ball mount is exactly what we needed to tow our pop-up camper with our minivan. We have an after market hitch that is very low. We needed a ball mount to raise the towing height and this fits the bill.

by:

Ordered hitch and ball from etrailers and received on time. Customer service rep was excellent. I placed the hitch on my 94 2500 series GMC In 30 minutes using a 3/4 ratchet. I would suggest asking a fiend to assist because it weighs about 45 pounds.

by:

This is the second one I have purchased this year from etrailer.
These heavy duty ball mounts are the way to go.
The drop slope makes it easy to hook or unhook a trailer regardless of tow truck tilt angle. This is a problem we had with square drops.
You can use 2-inch and 2-5/16 with this unit.
All of our ball mounts will be changed to this type.

by:

We pull a Car Hauler Trailer with valuable cars inside and didn't want to take chances any longer with a lower rated Trailer Hitch Ball Mount or the Hitch Ball. If you look at what the rating is on the Ball Mount and Hitch Ball that you are using on your Trailer Hitch I think you will be shocked and then will order one of these 16,000 lbs. GTW rated Forged Ball Mounts and probably a new 12,000 # rated Hitch Ball also! If the Hitch Ball Mount or the Hitch Ball you are using breaks - what will happen to your trailer and what is on it or inside as the case may be?

by:

Perfect fit and perfect height for my application. This unit is in my opinion extra heavy duty !

Great ! No, issues, quality product!

by:

2nd ball mount I've purchased from etrailer.com and it is great. 1st one is still working great on my old truck, bought this one for the new truck. Fast shipping (less than 2 days for standard shipping) good price and quality product, can't ask for much more!! Hitch ball & mount fit perfectly on my 2014 F-150 and work great for towing my 22ft trailer.

by:

This bad boy is one solid piece of security. I like to think that the one piece of equipment keeping my trailer securely behind the truck and not skidding past me down the freeway can handle the challenge ... the Forged Ball Mount can handle anything. Thanks etrailer.com!

by:

Solid 1 piece ball mount...heavy, this thing weighs about 20 lbs. It is a little loose fitting in the reciever but that may be the reciever and not the ball mount. A few wraps of electrical tape keeps it from rattling.

by:

Bought a trailer hitch receiver ..... received promptly and in perfect condition. Installation instructions were right on and it was easily installed! Great product, just as expected!

by:

Nice finish, hopefully will hold up over time. Unfortunately it is rather loose inside the 2" hitch hole, I don't understand how hard it is to get a tighter tolerance. We used some electrical tape as others suggested, but I would expect more from this brand.

by:

Seems well made; truly is forged and its fairly heavy. I particularly liked eTrailer's putting all the pertinent info in their website description; many places don't do that. I was confident I was getting the proper sized balls and mount.

I contacted our representative at Curt and he informed me that you will be able to keep your spare tire on your 1997 Ford F-250 extended cab long bed with rear full tank, with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 14001. When installing part # 14001, you will need to lower the spare tire to install the Curt Hitch. After installation you will just need to raise the spare tire and position it into place. It sounds like you need a new ball mount. We do have ball mounts that have a rise, which would lift the coupler of your trailer and possibly give you the clearance you need. If you have a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver opening and need about 3-1/8 inches of additional clearance I recommend part # C45522. This measures 11-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the ball mount hole which should give you plenty of additional room to keep from mashing your hand. If you have...
