Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

This allows you to easily secure your tie down strap or chain to the unit.It's a spring loaded design, so it snaps back and prevents accidental disconnecting. It's a simple bolt on installation, mounting hardware not included. But it will accept quarter inch diameter hardware.
It's made from a durable steel construction with protected finishing to keep it safe from rust and corrosion.A few measurements I want to mention for you real quick. The usable space, so inside edge to inside edge side to side is about one and three-sixteenths. From the top of the bracket to the bottom of the D-ring up and down is about one and three quarter inches. The diameter of the ring itself is a quarter inch.This right here is our mounting bracket. It has a two-hole design on it, so those mount holes are separated apart from one another on center by one and three-eighths inches.
The bracket measures about two and one-eighth by about three quarters of an inch. The unit features a safe working load limit of 100 pounds, with a maximum load or break strength rating of 300 pounds.
