Today we're going to take a look at the K-Source Passenger Side Electric Heated Replacement Side Mirror. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1998 to 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 and 2500 pickups with the heated power mirror. Now on a custom fit part I always like to recommend go to our web site, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now this is the side view mirror, which is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. As you can see it is designed to match the manufacturer's specs for a nice custom look and fit. It does have the power remote mirror capability so you'll adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle, and this is a heated mirror so the face of it melts the snow and the ice, helps reduce fogging. The mirror on it is an OE-grade convex glass with first-surface plating to reflect sharp images and provide a superior range of vision.
The front of this glass is plated with a reflective chrome, and because it is a passenger side mirror it is a convex mirror to make the reflections appear smaller than with a flat mirror, but allows you to see more and reduce the blind spots. It is a breakaway design, which means it'll fold when struck to prevent any breakage. It's made of a durable ABS plastic. It has a nice black finish to it. It is an easy, no drill installation. You can see it has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror.
It even comes with three of the nuts when you attach this on to there, and if you'll notice the electrical wiring right here. This will plug into your existing electrical wiring on your vehicle. Again, a few specs on this. It's for a quantity of one passenger side mirror. This does replace the original equipment number of 55076488AB. One last note I do want to mention on this mirror is the power remote capability and the heated glass of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
