Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at the Prest-O-Fit Black Three Piece Step Rug Set for your Lippert Solid Step RV Steps. Now this rug set is going to wrap around each of the three steps on your Lippert Solid Step RV Steps with the 24 and 1/8 inch wide steps. And on your screen, I am including the model number of those steps just so you can make sure that you've got the right set for your steps. Now, as we're talking about the size of the steps that the step rug is going to fit, I do wanna let you know that I actually have the shorter steps with the shorter step rugs.

And by shorter I mean not as wide. These steps are actually 20 and 1/8 inches wide, and that's gonna be the same with the step rugs as well. So because of size limitations here on my table, I'm going to show you the shorter set, but it's gonna be just the same as your 24 and 1/8 inch wide steps. And just to give you a size comparison, here are the actual rug pieces for your 24 and 1/8 inch wide steps. So you can see the size difference there against these shorter ones here.

So if you do order this, this is the size that you'll be getting. But everything else will be the same, the installation will be the same and so on. Now, this material is made from heavy duty, UV protected outdoor turf, and this is going to be resistant to fading as well as to mold and mildew. These strong bristle fibers are going to do a great job of removing the dirt and debris from the bottom of your shoes, so there's gonna be less sweeping and mopping inside of your RV or camper. And when it's time to clean these off, all you have to do is get a garden hose and spray them down really good, let them air dry and you will be good to go.

Now this carpeted design is going to be great for your pets as well as it covers those uninviting metal steps that might scare them off. And these steps do have a rubberized back, which is going to help keep them in place. So this is that wider piece, again, I just wanna show you that. You can see that a little bit from that perspective. Let me go in for a closeup view there.

And so this rubberized back is going to do a great job of holding the rugs in place along with the hook and loop fasteners here. You're just gonna peel the adhesive off there and lay that onto the top of your step. And so that's going to give you the ability to remove these if you need to, to clean them. But really the star of the show here are the springs. You're gonna get springs, the four springs for each step rug to secure these step rugs in place. These are steel springs with hooks at either end. They are zinc plated to help resist rust and corrosion. So they're gonna hold up really well for you against the elements. And I have another rug here that I've kind of assembled showing you what it's going to look like underneath your step. So this is how you are going to connect those springs. So you're gonna lay this step rug over your step, and then underneath you're going to connect those springs in the holes just like that. And those springs provide just enough tension to hold this step rug in place along with the hook and loop fasteners and that rubberized back. So you're not gonna have to worry about these rugs slipping. They're gonna hold firmly in place and they're gonna last you quite some time. Now, I do wanna let you know that there's not gonna be any screws, any glue, any tools to worry about. It's gonna be a very easy installation. All three of these step rugs are secured in place with the springs. I did not even apply the the hook and loop fasteners on these, and they still hold in place. They don't move or budge or anything like that. Our top step is a little bit deeper, but it's going to install in much the same way. So very easy installation. I think it'll take you a matter of minutes. Again, my preference is to have these steps raised up so you can actually see underneath the step as you're connecting those springs from end to end on those step rugs. Now again, this is in black, Prest-O-Fit calls it Obsidian Black, but if you like the step rug set, it's going to match what you want. But if you're not too crazy about the color, the good news is we do also carry this in brown and Prest-O-Fit calls it Buckskin Brown. And I've got another rug here with that brown color just to kind of show you the difference there.
