Left batteries in it from December until last weekend and they leaked and now they no longer work. I really cannot blame the product for me leaving batteries during extended period of time

Enhanced the appearance and made steps safer when accessing them by illuminating steps and small surrounding are. Excellent addition for RV’s that do not have factory step light.1721933

Work well. One has a switch that jammed up and won’t turn on. But I’m pretty sure that’s because it fell rather than a manufacturer’s defect. The other is still going strong and I’ll be buying a second set to replace the broken one.

Lights are working out great. Great safety feature for us at night.

These are perfect just bright enough to light up the stairs with it being over powering. Thinking about getting a few more to pit under the pantry shelves.1665993

Thats annoying! It looks like you arent the only one having these issues. Part # ILL85CB would be a good alternative. They are surface mounted so you wouldnt have to worry about them randomly coming off. Another plus is that they hardwire in, last a long time, and you wouldnt have to worry about batteries. One thing to keep in mind is if you do go with the Optronics light, hardware to mount them isnt included and would need to be sourced at a hardware store or with what you may have on hand already.

I don't have them installed on my camper steps yet. I did take one out of the package and looked it over. I have it working in our utility room for a walk-in light. Works good, nice and bright. Anxious to get them installed on our camper steps. I like the feature that they shut off after no movement. No lights, no bugs. I also like the addition bracket that comes with the light for mounting. Not all steps are created the same. Definitely would recommend this product.1528185

Got one pair for a gift and kept 2 for our rv. One of ours works good and the other one looses contact with the battery lid and doesn’t work. Tried taping the lid on better and worked again for a few a few days.1509381

These led lights were very easy to install. You can leave the lights on or by motion activated. They magnetically attach to angel bracket you attach to the bottom of your steps. I remove mine when in transit and reinstall at my next destination. E trailer has great products at a great price.1438483

The lights work well. The only problem I have is the one I put on second step from bottom gets wet and quits working during rain. Needs better waterproofing.

these are not magnetic at all, and the cheap tape they provide doesnt stick that well I had to use additional VHB tape, and dont put these on the lower step, when you drive they will come on at night and wear out the batteries over priced for what you get and not that waterproof will probably fall off as i have automatic steps, they do fit but you have better cheaper options with motion lights..1270019

Magnets not powerful enough to hold during travel. I hung one of them with cable ties in my front basement compartment and one in my truck tool box instead for extra lighting.1404125

The package was already opened and damaged. I packed the item back up in the damaged box and called in for an RMA. The rep demanded that I unpack this large item to take pics of the damage. I did protest this request but did comply. I sent the pics to the rep and called twice today without a return call. So far I am not at all pleases with etrailer’s customer service.1319364
