Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Camco, 25 foot long, RV-heated drinking water hose for cold weather. This heated 25-foot long drinking water hose is going to let you run fresh water from the city water pump at your campsite, to your RV's holding tank or fresh water system in cold weather, keeping the water from freezing. This hose is also going to be great for livestock, agriculture, kennels, and other industrial, commercial, and residential uses. This 10-foot long 18 gauge power cord, is going to plug into your 120 volt AC power outlet. And I wanted to point out that the plug does have an LED light in it that's going to indicate that you do indeed have power in that outlet that you plug this into. Now this hose features a built-in heat supply that is going to keep the water flowing even in freezing temperatures as low as negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
And what's great about this hose is it self-regulates, so it's not going to overheat when the temperature gets warmer. So, this doesn't need a thermostat or a temperature controller, it's going to self-regulate and you're not gonna have to worry about it. I wanted to point out the female connectors here on either end, and what's nice about that is this is going to let you choose which end to attach your water source, and that's going to depend on the location of the electrical outlet that you plug the power cord into. And then this included female to male adapter is going to let you connect to the end of the hose opposite your water source. By the way, this hose is rated for 40 to 50 psi of water pressure.
And the fittings on this hose and even with our adapter here, they are indeed heavy-duty. They're extra large, so I can see that even if you're wearing a pair of gloves it's gonna be very easy to grab onto these fittings to tighten them. And they are machined and nickel-plated for maximum corrosion protection. So, I can see that these fittings are going to do a great job in the elements outside, and I think they're gonna really hold up especially in those extreme cold temperatures and they're gonna be long-lasting. Now, the hose itself is wrapped in a durable, all-weather PVC jacket, and that's protecting the hose and any electrical components from damage or exposure to the elements.
So the hose itself feels really robust, really heavy-duty, and I think it's going to really hold up well outside in the elements and again, in those extreme cold temperatures. And this hose is phthalate free, BPA free, and lead free for drinking water safety. You're not gonna have to worry about water going through this hose and not being safe to drink. This is again designed for your drinking water, so you can drink your water with confidence after it goes through this hose. It is also NSF 61 certified.
And again, this hose is 25 feet long, and the internal diameter is five eights of an inch. And if you're looking for maybe a smaller size or a larger size, the good news is, we do carry both. We have a 12 foot long version and also a 50 foot long version. And I am including our item numbers to those different lengths of hoses on your screen, and you can just take the item number of the one that you are interested in, and pop it in the search fill of our website and it will take you to that length that you are looking for. An instruction sheet is also included with this. So overall, I'm very impressed with the build quality of this hose. I think it's going to do a great job, especially withstanding those elements, and keeping your water flowing especially during those extreme cold temperatures. And again, this is going to operate in temperatures as low as negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit, so this is going to be able to withstand quite a bit of extreme cold temperatures. Still working after a year. If it lasts through the winter I’ll upgrade to five stars
Would give a better rating but the hose doesn't protect to the temperature it says, it got down to the single digits this past winter and the hose froze. Hose is good quality and has withstood all the elements. Still in great condition. It's just the down side that it froze.
After ordering multiple times from trailer we have never been disappointed in the quality of their products or commitment to customer service. I just received this hose and will update you later on it’s value.

The hose is still working fine, we have had it a year, but its only been used for about 3 months. I do hope it will last many years, Thank you
Like easy hookups made where you can have power at either end
The hose failed when we had an issue with a transformer during a winter storm and the voltage dropped to 95 volts. I fortunately had a different brand of heat tape on the water spigot that kept working and prevented the spigot from freezing. I ended up throwing this hose away and purchased the same brand of heat tape as the spigot to wrap a traditional water hose with and did not have anymore issues.
This is not the type of review I was hoping to give to etrailer. I have ordered many things from this site before and have always been happy with my transactions. This time, I ordered a CAMCO 22900 heated water hose for my RV. I received a CAMCO 22920 heated hose which was of a lower quality and a much cheaper hose. The company requested that I send them pictures of the hose, a product number from the tag, and then I had to print out my explanation of the problem and my shipping labels, package this back up, and drive 6 miles to the nearest UPS store to ship back their mistake. I am still waiting for the correct hose to arrive and was not even offered an apology, a discount, or a rebate for the additional trouble I had to go through for their mistake. As it turns out, I could have bought this hose cheaper elsewhere with less hassle and more appreciation for being a customer.
No more running around trying to insulate my water supply at the last minute. I survived the winter without a whimper. I would have bought this product sooner if I had known the stress it would have eliminated for me. I recommend this purchase.

Thank you for your feedback. I reached out to the manufacturer for you as this does have a one year warranty on the hose and a three warranty for the electrical components.
