Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Texas State flag emblem, two-inch hitch cover. Now a cover like this is going to serve at least two purposes for you. You can display your love for the great State of Texas while at the same time, keeping your hitch receiver free and clear of any kind of rust and dirt buildup. Frequently, whenever you leave your hitch receiver open, it can build up with rust and debris.
That's gonna make it a little more difficult to insert your accessories such as your bike rack. So by having this hitch cover installed, you're going to be keeping your receiver clean while at the same time, sporting your Texas pride. Now, this premium hitch cover is an officially licensed product that features the famous Lone Star flag, the state flag of Texas in full color. And the flag emblem is American made of chrome-plated metal that is rustproof and fade proof. And it is mounted on a black powder-coated metal base.
The foam gasket here at the back is going to help prevent rattle when you have this mounted. And again, this is designed to fit two-inch trailer hitch receivers. The pinhole diameter is five-eighths of an inch. This does require a pin and clip for installation. This does not include a pin and clip.
So if you do not already have one that's compatible, that would be a separate purchase for you. For your convenience on your screen, I am putting our item numbers for a pin and clip that would work with this, and also for a hitch receiver lock that would work with this with your two-inch hitches. Since this is a premium hitch cover, I would definitely recommend going the trailer hitch receiver lock, and those item number's on your screen. You can just pop those item numbers in the search field of our screen, or on our website rather, and it'll take you to those products. But like I said, I would definitely recommend securing this hitch cover, really an investment that you're making on the back of your vehicle with our trailer hitch receiver lock.
Now I am gonna pull out my ruler here and just give you some overall measurements to help you determine if this is going to fit the back of your vehicle. So looking at the overall width, we are sitting pretty close to four-and-three-quarters inches wide. And looking at the overall height, we are sitting right at three-and-a-half inches tall. Only reason to buy a new one is I forgot and left it on the truck I traded in. Very happy with product and very quick delivery.

Nicely done. This is quality workmanship. Good welds, high quality materials. Is as advertised, and the colors on the flag are crisp. There are no rough or unfinished edges on the product, and the black paint is smooth and evenly applied to the surface.

This hitch is made of really good material to with stand weather, etc. My husband polished it and it stands out. Great hitch.
Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.

Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Will not return item but with their attention to detail I am sure if there were anything of issue the company would be on top of it. Thank you I will be ordering from you again.
