Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the CURT Custom Fit fifth wheel installation kit with the dark gray base rails for the Chevrolet and GMC trucks. Now this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2011 to 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks with either the six and a half foot bed or the eight foot bed, and without the OEM prep package. And on a custom-fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now this kit is a complete installation kit, allows you to install a fifth wheel to your truck bed.

The kit will include these side custom-fit mounting brackets, the base rails, all the hardware you need for installation, and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how it all goes together. Now the custom-fit brackets, these are the two on the sides here. I'm gonna zoom in. These will mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for the fifth wheel rails to attach to. You can see they have a nice black powder coat finish on them to resist corrosion, and they do provide a custom fit by mounting to existing holes.

You can see these holes here, and they're already in your vehicle's frame. This will minimize the amount of drilling that's required, and it'll cut the installation time in half when compared with the universal bracket kits that are out there. Now the base rails, which are these right here, these are what'll sit in your truck bed. They allow the installation of the fifth wheel trailer hitch to your vehicle. These rails are visible in your truck bed.

These, if you notice, have a nice dark gray finish to them that'll match the color of your CURT fifth wheel hitch. And these rails are industry standard rails, which means they're compatible with the B&W, the CURT, the Draw-Tite, Reese, and Husky Above Bed fifth wheel trailer hitches.
