Hello, neighbors and friends. I'm Steve here with etrailer.com. Today let's look at an ARB Safari Off-Road Snorkel Kit. Enter things such as your year, make and model, bed length, cab style, whatever kind of questions it asks you when you're looking up different parts to ensure you are getting the correct parts to fit your vehicle the first time.

Now, this Off-Road Snorkel will look something like this when it's installed. And as you probably know, it's gonna take air from your vulnerable low position air intake to raise it above your hood. Now this does help reduce the amount of moisture and dust that will reach your engine and provide you with a cooler, cleaner amount of air. Now this heavy duty scoop that's gonna sit at the top of this guy here, it can actually rotate 360 degrees all the way around on there and that will help minimize exposure from strong rains and snowstorms. But what it's gonna do is actually, it's going to funnel water from the air stream as it's coming in just normal driving, and give you maximum air flow down below.

So it's got nice little contoured crisscross pattern that you can see. And again, that's gonna help divert everything. Now if I can carefully get this guy attached. Okay, so like I said, it can rotate 360 degrees. Keep in mind it would have a hose clamp around here whenever it's fully installed, but more or less it's gonna sit something, if I was your vehicle, it's gonna sit something like this.

And obviously this would be facing, like I said, the front. Then you've got this little connection hose that would go here and then connect to your air box. So a nice little snorkel, folks. Again, it's gonna give you high flow and the air ducts in the body are gonna ensure that the engine has a surplus of air. Now this is made of UV stable polyethylene and it's gonna hold up to harsh off-road conditions and that kind of stuff.

And it also has an EPDM molded duct connection that's gonna withstand temperatures all the way up to 266 degrees Fahrenheit. Now I'm gonna put this back down. And we'll zoom in here on some hardware. So you've got all these studs here. Those are actually going to screw into the back. Lemme spin this around. Those are gonna screw into the back of these guys here. So when you get everything installed, those will get threaded through there and they'll go through the fender and then they'll have a nut and a washer on the other side of it to hold it in place. This little black bracket here is gonna go up towards your A pillar and those three little plastic clips there, they're probably kind of hard to see with the light. Those are gonna go from the inside of the A pillar sticking out. That way they make a nice seam there for you to connect to, and keep it all watertight and whatnot. You've got the three stainless steel hose clamps here. That's for going around all your connection points on all the parts of the snorkel. Now I do want to zoom out here and show you the included template as well. A lot of stuff here on the table, folks, bear with me. So whenever you're using this template, this side here is gonna go right to where that gap between your fender and your passenger side door are. Depending on the vehicle, maybe your driver's side door, actually, but you're gonna pop out this little oval here that'll match up with that oval. And then you have all your screw holes here on this template you would use, and that's what you're gonna use to mark the location of how to install this. So folks, a very, very nice kit here again, by ARB. They make really good products.
