Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at the CE Smith Side Guide Roller for Boat Trailers. Now, this two inch in diameter roller is going to replace one of your boat trailer side guide rollers. It eases the loading and unloading of your boat by helping you guide the boat into place. So, this is gonna mount along the side of your trailer.
This is made in the USA of durable, heavy-duty rubber, and this is going to fit a bracket with a half inch in diameter shaft. Let me retrieve my ruler here and just give you some overall dimensions. Looks like we're sitting right at nine inches long. And I mentioned that the diameter was sitting right at two inches in diameter. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today.

I am using these for rollers on our fairway mowers at the golf course I work at , they do a great job and very reasonably priced. I’ll be purchasing more and etrailer is a good company to deal.

Replaced Sun Tracker roller that had fallen off or was taken. Worked perfectly!

I purchased this to replace the roller on my dock. As it turns out the hole in the center wasn't big enough for the roller shaft. I was easily able to drill out the center hole up to 5/8" son that it fit perfectly. The roller looks and works great.

- Replacement 6" x 2" Roller for Older Boat TrailerFor your application you'll have to purchase a larger roller and cut it to make it fit your requirements: - 9" long x 2" diameter # CE29562 - 12" long x 2-1/2" diameter # YR12243-4P The 9" version will have the same diameter that you currently have but the 12" version can be cut directly in half and you'll get two rollers out of it - granted they will have a slightly larger diameter than what you need. Aside from that we just have the more modern rollers to choose from.
view full answer... - Can the Yates Side Guide Roller # YR12243-5 be Cut for a Specific LengthCurrently the roller that we have that has a 2 inch diameter is the CE Smith Side Guide Roller # CE29562, but it is for a 1/2" shaft so it is not compatible for your setup. I spoke with my contact at Yates and he said that the Side Guide Roller # YR12243-5 that you mentioned can indeed be cut to fit your specifications and that it is done all of the time. The most effective tool to use is a radial saw.

For this application you would use something like the 12-3/4" x 1/2" # CE10705A because there needs to be some extra length for the end pieces. If you are needing a standard roller then I recommend the Yates Keel Roller # YR10000 which is 10" long and works great with the 11" x 5/8"...
