Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq Eon waterproof cool white LED boat accent light. Now, this LED light will provided a nice, cool white light for your boat. So, this is great for upgrading or replacing your accent lighting, your step, walkway, or underwater lighting. You can see this is a nice, sealed, waterproof housing and lens unit.

Has an IP 68 rating. And it uses a durable polycarbonate housing with a UV resistant lens. You notice it is a clear lens over three cool white LEDs. Now, at the end of this video, I am going to connect this light to 12 volt power just to show you how bright the light is, but I first wanna go over some of the features on it. They do use premium LEDs, which are energy efficient, long-lasting, and vibration resistant.

They are rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation. And they do use the military grade construction of the circuit board on this light, which means they use a urethane potting which gives you better protection than the common epoxy potting on the light. Now, this is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. Now, to install this light, it is a surface mount installation. Now, it will mount using a protective horizontal or vertical mounting cover, which we do sell separately on our website.

And those covers are listed on this product page as a related product. Now, the hardware to install the mount, the mounting covers are not included. You would have to supply the hardware, just two screws that are needed. But basically, they do a vertical cover, which will mount the light this way. If it mounts in the vertical position, it'll emit a 70 degree beam.

And then they do a horizontal cover, which will mount it this way. And if it's mounted horizontally, it emits a 90 degree beam. If you notice it has the two wires on it, so it does hardware to your application. Those two wires are a power and a ground wire. And the length of the wire, as you can see, is about nine inches. A few specs on this, we're gonna give you the dimensions on it. So, the overall length of this light is right at 2 1/8 inches long. The height of it is right at 5/8 of an inch tall. Total depth on it is also 5/8 of an inch. Light output is 150 lumens, and has an input voltage of nine volts to 14 volts. So, what we're gonna do now is go ahead and hook this up to our 12 volt power. And once we got it all hooked up, I'll go ahead and turn on the light. And with it on there, you'll see the three cool white LEDs. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. And you can see how bright this light is. And also, just wanted to zoom out just to show you from a distance how much light this does give off. And then we'll go ahead and zoom back in. But again, very bright, cool white lighting. Turn back on our overhead lights. And we'll go ahead and turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on this TecNiq Eon waterproof cool white LED boat accent light..
