Hello, neighbors and friends, welcome back. I'm Steve with etrailer.com, today we're taking a look at these replacement cradle assemblies for the Yakima HangOut, KingJoe, or MightyJoe Trunk Bike Rack. Now, this will replace one complete cradle for your Yakima HangOut 2, HangOut 3, KingJoe 2, KingJoe 3, MightyJoe 2, or MightyJoe 3 Trunk Bike Racks. They attach on the arms of the rack, and they hold your bike in place. You do get one standard cradle, and one anti-sway cradle. So the anti-sway cradle, that guy simply comes in two parts here.
Obviously, it's gonna go over your bars, but it's got the empty sway here that will pivot just like you're used to. And then you've got the standard cradle here, that'll just slide onto the bar as well. So very, very nice product. Hard plastic, just like you're used to. Very nice quality, just like Yakima's known for.

eTrailer seems to be the only dependable place to find many unique bike rack parts. These were shipped quickly and the descriptions on the website are accurate and detailed. I'm in the process of restoring and modifying an old hitch mount bike rack from a 2-bike to 4-bike setup. I had a couple 1" OD aluminum bars machined to length, and these slide perfectly onto the bars. Exactly what I needed, thanks to all at eTrailer!

They work well adapted to a Hollywood rack. Now we will have to see how this material holds up to the sun.
I ordered two of these for my older BigHorn rack. (non folding) The arms on it are 1" unlike the newer BigHorn and these fit perfectly. I had extra straps so these worked out great.

still working, using on modified Harbor freight Hitch Rack in combination with Saris cable lock system.
