We traded our trailer with these and the new camper did not have them preinstalled. The peace of mind and safety this system provides is beyond explanation. Leave home or camp with all tires at the same pressure. Adjust pressures in changing weather. Monitor tire temps that prepare of impending tire failure. What sealed the deal for us was having a very hot tire. It turned out to be a dangerous condition, bent axle. Thankfully it was covered by warranty. TST is the American Express of camping, we don't leave home without it (I also added valve stem monitors for truck & tow spares). Highly recommend!

Exact fit replacement. My display unit recognized the new tire sensor during the learn process immediately. Customer service was excellent at ETrailer. Had an issue with delayed shipment but that was on the USPS and not E-Trailer.
E-Trailer was great and sent out a replacement sensor UPS 3 day. The replacement sent UPS was due to arrive tomorrow 3/19/24 and low and behold USPS showed up today 16 days after shipment. Just have to take the rim & tire to be mounted tomorrow.

I purchased this style of TPMS because I feel it’s the best aftermarket version- No bulky valve stem heads to fiddle with or grow legs/ wings. Plus, it shows temps. I needed help with programming it and the very knowledgeable gal who helped me, picked up on the first ring! The display is bright and visible thruout the day and it comes with a repeater that is simple to hook up, although my 26’ class C doesn’t seem to need it. It even has a position on the display for the spare tire, or the 7th tire, in my case. I like the dashboard cradle it comes with, because I can easily hide the unit when parked or storage.
In the year I’ve owned it, we’ve only gone on 4 trips but it’s worked really well each time.
1 drawback might be that the tires need to be dismounted to install the sensors. I had not done proper TPMS research at the time I’d purchased 7 new tires for my rig, and wound up having to go back to the tire shop to have the sensors installed, but hey, live and learn! Well worth it tho. This design leaves your valve stems looking clean/ stock. I put the kind of caps that have the little ball valve at the top, so filling the air can be done with 1 hand. If you are considering new tires for your vehicle, that would be the time to get this system! Another concern might be to know how long the sensors last before needing new batteries. But overall, very happy with my decision to go with this brand and design. One friend of mine has the kind where you have to remove the sensors to fill the air, and it’s a pain. He was looking into the passthru style, but those are also straining on the valve stems, which leads to leaks because as the wheel spins, that big ole sensor is causing drag on the valve stem.
Not mine! Easy Peasy.

by:

These are somewhat fragile when replacing the tire on your trailer. The tire shop needs to know where the sensor is oriented so their bead breakdown machine doesn’t destroy it when taking the tire off the rim. I replaced mine because the strap broke inside and the parts were flopping around inside the tire.

by:

Installation went fine. Sensors paired o.k. and readings are as expected.

by:

It was a pleasure working with Christine from etrailer. She was very helpful. I will for sure order from them again for mt trailer needs

by:

needed new RV tires so had these onhand when mobile tire tech came to change the tires

by:

Hello, I installed internal sensors a few months back on 4 tires. They pair fine but won't display pressure on the display. I just tried to pair again and reach tire pairs with the same id as before so they are clearly alive. Is there something the installer did wrong or are the batteries too low (bought in February)?

I have gotten in contact with the manufacturer and they have suggested that it could be that you are electronically disconnected. Try to press and release GO and - MINUS at the same time. This will bring the sensor icons back on to the display on the left towing section. Then press and release GO and + PLUS at the same time. This will bring the sensor icons back on to the display on the right towed section.

I have had the TST-507-INT-S1 for over a year. I have 8 censors. 4 on the truck and 4 on my bass boat trailer.I have had absolutely no issues with this product- My truck and boat will set without using for several weeks to 2 months before I travel- When I leave my home, I turn on the unit, plug in the USB charger and start driving-In about 5-10 minutes, all 8 tires are reading- One thing I like about this system, is that I can have 16 more tires without any changes or additional purchases of equipment other than the sensors for the additional tires. I own 8 different towable trailers, so nice to just hook up and go, knowing what my tires are doing- Highly recommend this product!!

by:

Very happy with this product easy to follow instructions. Tire store employees knew how to install and were very excited to get my feed back on the systems operation so that they might inform future customers.

by:

My 2019 GMC Sierra Denali 3500 HD 1 ton does not have TPMS installed from the factory, despite having every bell and whistle due to not being federally mandated. WTF??? Luckily my toy hauler came with a TST TPMS installed on my trailer, that is expandable to monitor my truck tire pressure as well as tire temperature. Only made sense while installing new tires to install TST monitor on my towing machine.

by:

These are great! I bought monitor and 6 sensors last year and put 5 on my 5th wheel (spare tire) and 1 on my dually spare last year. I bought 6 more for my dually this year. I haven’t had any tire issues yet, but it gives me peace of mind to be able to monitor both pressure and temperature. I choose the internal sensors so that I won’t have to worry about theft. Plan on buying more in the future for my 20 foot utility trailer. Left monitor unplugged for 6 months and it still had battery power left when I turned it on.

by:

A great product from TST. The sensors work perfectly and I don't have any more valve cap leaking issues plus they are not subject to theft either.
Just follow the instructions closely when they are installed inside the wheel rims.

by:

The sensor work great. I had the valve cap sensors and had trouble getting them to seal properly and kept losing air in one of the wheels so I decided to give these a try. They are a more complicated installation, but if you do any of your own automotive work, I'm sure you can handle it. all you need is a bead breaker in addition to typical tire changing tools and the proper socket or nut driver for the wormgear clamp and it takes about 15 mins per tire. The bead breaker I used is the Beadbuster 450, but there are less expensive options out there.

Also, etrailer met all my expectations and sent the correct product in a timely manner.

by:

I have 4 installed already in my rv. Needed these for my spares and getting flow sensors for truck.

by:

This product is very popular with RVers [online]
Most have gave this product a very good review using the valve stem caps or the flow through sensors. I bought the bands that go inside the tire! I believe this sensor to be superior to the others due to the fact that I will not have to remove anything to add or remove air from the tire. Plus I will not have to worry about someone taking them off my wheels. I am looking forward to many miles of worry free RVing in the future!
You might consider buying the TST system on etrailer individually instead of a kit; I found it to be cheaper and more custom to my needs!

God Bless America like he does TEXAS ;-)

by:

Always appreciate etrailers product selections and expertise.

The TST 507 is capable of monitoring up to 38 tires so you will be able to use it with multiple vehicles and trailers. • Is The TST 507 TPMS Sensors A Good Choice For A Class A Motorhome
The TST TPMS for RVs # TST-507-RV-4-C that you have is a popular option, but I'm assuming you're worried about theft or them sticking out too far? These sensors require a special tool to remove to help prevent theft and are lightweight enough to be compatible with rubber valve stems as well as steel, chrome, or nickel. The TST TPMS # TST34FR you were looking at is also a great option because it will mount internally but is a bit of a pain to initial install since you'll have to remove...

The TPMS on your 2018 Ford F-250 are using their own system and it won't be compatible with the TST TPMS # TST-507-FT-4-C that you are using for your trailer. If you wanted to use the TST to monitor the tires on your F-250 as well then you'll need to install some TST sensors on your truck tires.
