This is going to replace the wired remote for your Superwinch winch with the old-style socket here. So, because this is a direct replacement from Superwinch, you can trust it is going to plug right in place of that original. Well it doesn’t work on my x-9 winch. Called to see if I could get the female end for it to swap out my x9. Nope. I’m getting use to eating junk.

This remote looks exactly like I had hoped. It appears to be very well made. I purchased an older Superwinch without a remote just some wires hanging out of it, I did some electrical diagnostics on the unit confirmed it functioned properly, now I needed a remote to actually use it safely sooo, I checked with etrailer.com, a company I have purchased products from in the past with much satisfaction, spoke with a very helpful pleasant lady named Emily H. and she stated she had a actual Superwinch remote in stock for my older winch (for get this) for less than $[XX] including tax and shipping. WOW hard to beat that with a stick. etrailer will be my first source from now on.
