Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Spectro 16 Gauge In-line Mini Fuse Holder for a quantity of one. Now, this in-line fuse holder is used for applications where your over current protection is required. This type of fuse is for low voltage current protection in motor vehicles, and the mini design fuse allows you to use it in locations where a low profile is needed.Now, the wire gauge on this holder is 16 gauge size, so that tells you that this holder will accept either a 10 amp or 15 amp mini style fuse. Now to install this holder, basically what you'll do is you have your two ends here.
You just connect these ends to your wiring in-line, and then you just install your fuse into the holder for protection. Now, I did happen to pull a mini fuse just to show you the type of fuse we're talking about. It's very small sized and it says 10 amps on this one. If you look on your fuse holder, you'll see the two openings. They'll match up to your two prongs and just push it all the way in.
Make sure you got a good connection. Once it's in there, put your cap over the whole fuse and that'll keep any elements or from any damage happening to your fuse. And just like that, you're all ready to go.Now, this part will include the in-line fuse holder. Now, the fuse I just showed you to demonstrate that is not included. The fuses would be sold separately.
