Today we're going to be taking a look at the Baltera Sewer Solution Macerator system, part number SS01. It comes with a 10' hose. A 10' extension is available with part number 278-SS02, a 15' extension is available with part number SS15, and finally a 25' extension is available with part number SS25. This sewer solution uses a high-velocity jet to pulverize your waste. It features a 3/4" non-kinking hose. The jet is powerful enough to where you can even run the hose uphill.
Here we'll give a closer look of how it works. We'll start with the jet facing down, through our hose. At this point we would then open up our valve on our black water tank and then turn it on. By doing so, our black water tank is going to spill out. The jet is going to pulverize our waste and push it out down to our dump station. Our cap is clear so that we can see when our black water tank is empty.
When it is empty we can then rotate the jet back up and this is going to help flush it out. We can continue to flush it out until we see our water running clear. Another great feature is when you're all done, you can close up your black water tank valve, turn the jet downward, and it's going to clean out your hose for you. It's less expensive than an electric macerating system. It's easy to set up.
We'll go ahead and show you that now. First we'll take off our black water cap, then we'll connect our bayonet fitting. Then we'll need to make sure we have access to a fresh water hose. Now we can hook up the anti siphon. This is going to prevent backflow into our clean water. Then we'll take our ball valve, and screw that in place.
Our ball valve features a quick disconnect. We can then connect it to our macerator until it snaps into place. Our hose will then get run to our dump station and plug in to our sewer adaptor. Our sewer adaptor features a slip fitting, a 3" threaded, a 3-1/2" threaded, and a 4" threaded. This will fit in most home and RV sewers. With our hose run to our dump station, and our fresh water connected, we can then begin emptying out our black water tank. As you can see, it's pulverizing our waste, and pushing it down through our hose. Though it's a smaller diameter hose, the jet pulverizes even the largest waste for a clean, efficient way to empty out your black water tank. Once our black water tank is mostly empty, we can begin flushing it. I'll rotate the jet. The jet is going to help remove any excess waste that has built up in our tank. Once we've let it run for a while, we can then rotate it back down so it further flushes out our tank. Something I like to do is when our black water tank is all flushed and cleaned out, I like to close up the valve, turn it back on, and rotate the jet up and down a few times to help clean out that area in front of the valve. When you're all done, it easily coils up with the included keepers for compact storage. That's going to complete our look at the Baltera Sewer Solution Macerator system, part number SS01.

I knew it didn’t include hose clamps when I ordered but they should since you cant use it without them.

Works Great. I was looking for an inexpensive way to dispose of my black water @ home after a few days of dry camping @ the Nascar race and occasional out of state company. After reading the reviews on your site I went with this and glad I did. I went with the main system and after reading the instructions that came with it and I purchased from [hardware store] 6 1"by10' sections of 200 psi PVC pipe and 6 1" collars everything fit together snug and did not have to glue it together ( ran it a total of 70' fairly level & No Leaks I also was able to run another hose to my black water flush on the RV and use it as I normally would ) See pics. The fittings that come with the macerator fit perfectly with the 1" PVC because that is what they are. Total investment was $xxx ( $xx for a pump out @ the races, 2 more times of use and it pays for itself ). I can take it apart and store it in the garage for the next use.
This secondary hose is perfect for a long sewer run not hauling my sewer tank and using a mascerator was the right move for me and usi

The Sewer Solution allows me to dump my tanks at home into a 1” tap installed in my sewage system. Great to use after boondocking or to clean tanks thoroughly before storage.

We use our RV at home for Holiday guests and needed a simple solution to be able to drain the black water tank at home. After receiving the product I immediately gave it a try. It works as advertised and will definately be easier to use then the 12V macerater that I had been using. It pumps slower then the electric macerator but reduces the overall time to drain the tank by half when including set up time, and I can leave it installed when the RV is in use. I gave the unit four stars as the provided drain house could be a little longer, maybe three or four additional feet, otherwise I would given the unit five stars.

Few products exceed your expectations. The system worked very well to dump the black and grey water. A big plus was could detach the water supply from dump line attachment, then connect hose to the black water tank flush. Then reconnect and dump the flush water.
This cleaned up the black water level sensors which now read properly!
Allowed us to dump at home and clean. Have places can dump near our house, but cleaning /flushing is not possible.
I bought the SewerSolution Macerator System for RV Waste Tanks - Bayonet Fitting and 4-in-1 Adapter - 10' - SS01. I also bought the Extension Hose for SewerSolution Macerator System - 25' Long - SS25. The extension hose did fit up to the main part. So to make the extension hose work the two pieces needed to be wound together with tape to hold them together. Such a simple conection to be made yet the supplier screwed it up. Why this was not checked befor selling the two parts is a demonstartion of not caring.
The system otherwise works fine. It is annoying that the connection between the two hoses was not fit tested to see if they would work together.
Exactly as described
I bought 2 for my trailers that are stationed in my back yard full time. I bought these because the traditional big hoses got worn from natures elements and also got accidentally stepped on. These are much better.
PROS: it will break down and liquify sewage. Low profile and discreet. Very strong materials. Easy install. Does not require electricity. Does not fully depend on gravity to drain. The see-through design throughout lets you detect a problem and most importantly ensure the product is clean before detaching and putting away. You can turn the valve to spray back inside the tank to clean better. The absolute best value compared to any product available at the time of this review.
CONS: Will not drain as fast as the big 4” hoses. If any piece of plastic such as a candy wrapper gets flushed it may not make it through, and you may need to detach the system to clear.
CONCLUSION: I am very pleased with the performance of this product, it's durability and quality. I recommend this to anyone. The price point makes it affordable and an absolute no brainer for anyone to buy.
