Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Rhino-Rack replacement telescoping pole. This is going to replace the telescoping pole for your Rhino-Rack universal side loader. This will allow you to load your kayak or your other gear without any assistance. This is going to help support that side loader off to the side. And this is an exact replacement from Rhino-Rack, so you can trust it is going to do a great job for your side loader, helping to support it.

You're not going to have to worry about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that. Just like the original, this is going to have a nice rubber foot to it. So you're not going to have to worry about damaging any ground that you're putting this on. It's also going to give it a nice secure grip. So it's not going to be slipping out.

Under here, this is a three piece telescoping design, so we'll telescope it out like so. It is very long, so from the end of our foot here to the very tip, when we have it fully extended like this, it's right about 89 and a quarter of an inch long. If I stand it up next to me, I'm about six feet three and you can see I'm only about halfway up this top section here. So it's going to be a little over seven feet. And when we have a fully extended, when we retract it down, very, very easy to do.

Just twisting, slide in and then twisting it to tighten it again. When we have it retracted like so, from the tip of our point there, down I'm sitting at right about 38 inches. So, like I said, because this is a direct replacement from Rhino-Rack, you can trust this is going to work for you. You're not gonna have to worry about fit issues, compatibility problems, or anything like that. It's just going to get you up and operational again, so you can get those kayaks and other gear loaded onto your roof with ease.
