So if something happened to that original cord and maybe got trampled or run over, or just scuffed up, or it's not working anymore, this is a replacement piece to get that working again. It's pretty simple to install and it does come with instructions on how to do that.Let's take a look and make sure that this is the right fit for you. Again, this is going to be a 50 amp female end. It's going to work for your RV cords, has that easy grip.
So it's got this three-prong grip where you can easily pull that off. If you're having trouble with your original cord end and maybe it's coming off, or you just can't really get a good purchase on it, this makes it pretty easy.It's comes like a brass knuckles style. You can even just do two fingers or grab it with your thumb, but it should be able to give you a lot more grip to pull that off and make sure that you can easily plug it in and unplug it as well.To get in there to wire everything, you'll just need a Phillips head screwdriver to undo those screws and take a look at the inside. It's made out of a durable polyester construction. So it should be up to the task for being out in the elements or out with your RV.

Durable polyester construction is weather resistant.I’ve used the male version of this receptacle and both are the best I’ve found. The fastening screws are strong and do not strip when tightening them up. It’s a little tight inside the receptacle body but having 4 thick gauge wires to route to the screws is the reason. It takes some concentration to trim the 4 wires to the correct length to avoid removing too much insulation but once you get it all is good. Great product.
Disappointed in this replacement plug. The terminals are not very robust and after stripping the wires you must split each stranded wire in half and route each half around terminal screw. I will probably replace with a plug that places each wire under a single terminal.

I needed a quick fix for the female end on my Rv cord. This was easy to install and it has a handle to help pull it out of the male socket. I would highly recommend for your replacement female end of your Class A 50 Amp Cord.
Good product and delivery was prompt. The plug is coded to the proper wire color so no one will be confused as to assembly procedure. Just be aware that this is very heavy gauge wire (#8 on 50 amp cords) so it will be somewhat difficult to fit into the confined space of the plug, but certainly can be done with some patients
The 50 amp female connector worked out well. The instructions provided with the packaging were most helpful and the attachment of the wires to the female connector end was easy. Great product!!!
Product was shipped, arrived, in a very timely manner. Very happy with Etrailer's service. Product was as advertised. Have not assembled it as yet but, I'm sure all will go well.
will be very useful when I get the proper 4 prong 90 degree 50 amp adapter.
1) The strain relief screw broke the stop possibly due to overtightening, but was apparently easy to do. Used a larger head screw to remedy the issue, but not ideal.
2) The directions, while clear included metric dimensions for trimming the wires but no SAE measurements which would have been helpful even though I struggled through.
3) Am otherwise happy with the product.
It work great I don't have to try screw the 50 amp now I turn it into plug in

Happy with this plug replacement. Much easier to plug in than the factory plug. Cord has stayed in the plug. Holding up well. I’d recommend it.
