Today we're taking a look at the JR Products Assist Handle for RV Entry Doors.This is going to be a nice sturdy metal handle, so you can have an easy place to grab to help you get in and out of your RV entry door. It's made out of a die-cast steel construction with a white powder coat finish. So it's going to stay looking nice and rust-free for a long time. It does not come with any hardware to get this mounted up, so you'll either have to reuse the hardware from your original handle or maybe you're replacing one that got damaged or bent, broken or something else happened to it or you will have to purchase some hardware separately.As far as measurements, the total length of our handle from the outside edge to outside edge. If you're going to put this over, make it a little easier.
It's about 10 inches long. The distance between those mounting holes center to center is about nine and a sixteenth inches apart. The inside length or the usable space that we can actually put our hand is about six inches, maybe about six and an eighth inches. The height away from the surface we have it mounted to is about one and a quarter, maybe one and three eights. Just kind of eyeball on that there.
The thickness is about five eights of an inch. The width is about five eights of an inch. And then the thickness is about a quarter of an inch.It feels pretty good in the hand. I think it's going to definitely give you an easy spot to grab and get yourself into the RV. As far as the mounting hole diameter, probably need that so you can find the right hardware to go with it.
Let's say you can use about quarter inch hardware, maybe three eights hardware to get that mounted up. It does have a countersunk design. So if you want to find some conical head screws to fit in there and keep everything nice and flush, that look really nice with that.
