Hello neighbors, I'm Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our ARB Base Platform Rack Recovery kit. That's right folks, so this is a kit. It's gonna help you carry all your recovery gear you need on your ARB base platform rack when you hit the trail. So starting off, you're gonna get a nice heavy-duty jack lift bracket. That's the one back here with this big guy here and this hardware right here in front of me.
Now when that guy is assembled, it's gonna let you secure and carry with you a nice heavy-duty high lift jack, and I'll throw an image up of what that would look like on there. Keep in mind, the jack is sold separately. Now you would simply insert the eye bolts and tighten down to secure that jack and the rubber cradle protects the jack's handle. Now it is a very easy tool-free installation with the included hardware on the perimeter of your rack. So all these guys thread into the bolts and everything for whenever you're installing that.
So follow the instructions that come with it and you should have no problem installing that and everything there has been black powder coated, nice corrosion-resistant finish along with the eye bolts and all that. Now moving on, you have what's called quick release pins. That's these four guys over here and those are gonna let you, with this bracket kit, so this bracket kit and these pins are gonna let you hold down and carry up to four recovery boards on top of your rack. So if you get stuck, you have recovery boards to put under the wheels to help you get traction to get out. Those work with ARB TRED Pro, HD and GT boards and I will pop a picture of those installed.
So it's just the brackets there in the photo. Unfortunately I don't have a photo yet of the TRED guys over here installed. But these guys work really nice. It's a simple lock or unlock here on the top. I know it's kinda hard to see there 'cause it's black plastic, but with unlock you can squeeze the sides, it pulls right off the bolt, pushes down.
If you spin the top to the lock position, now you can't get that off no matter how hard you pull. So you gotta spin it back to unlock and press the sides to get that off. So a nice quick, easy installation. And again, you get four of them with the included brackets. Now again, everything with those brackets is very rugged, it's been powder coated, the steel's rust resistant. And finally you're gonna get four eye bolt tie downs and I'll throw a picture of those up installed real quick. Very, very simple to install. They come in about, I think it's four pieces, technically. You take this guy, you unthread him, and then you've got the two pieces here that are aluminum. They've been powder coded as well. You got a washer in there and then you simply thread it tight, snug it up to where it's not gonna fall off, and then you're ready to hit the trail. So folks, again, this is made and designed for your ARB base platform racks. Everything here is a nice three year warranty. Again, a nice kit to take with you. That way you have all your recovery gear needed when you're hitting the trails off road and whatnot, and just having a good old time outside, right We all like to do that. So enjoy your outdoor time with this ARB base platform recovery kit. I'm Steven, thanks for watching. Have a great day.
