When it comes to picking out a suspension enhancement, there's a ton of different options available out there. And so what we've done today is just pick the most popular ones and parts that we've actually installed and tested here in the shop just to help simplify things and get you going. So all these are gonna work good and help out, but they're all gonna have a specific purpose. Firestone Ride-Rite Rear Air Helper Springs Installation - 2017 GMC Sierra 2500- Video
Today on our 2017 GMC Sierra Denali 2500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Firestone Ride Rite, Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs for the rear axle. This is what our air bags look like installed. These air bags can support up to 7500 pounds. Now keep in mind these aren't going to increase your truck's payload. It's still going to retain the factory amount of weight, however, what it's going to do is help your truck perform and ride much better with that amount of weight in the bed of your truck. It's always a good idea to check with your truck's owners manual to find its weight limits.Now what makes these different from some of the other styles on the market is that they're adjustable. more

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Installation - 2017 GMC Sierra 2500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 GMC Sierra 2500, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Firestone Ride Rite air helper springs for the rear axle. That's going to be part number F2596. So here's what our airbags are going to look like once we have them installed. Now these are going to give us load leveling support whenever we're hauling a heavy load or towing a heavy trailer. It's going to work in conjunction with our factory suspension, preventing that sagging that's typically found when we have a heavy load in the back, or hauling a heavy trailer.It's also going to make sure that our factory suspension is doing its job properly, and it's not taking on too much stress or unwanted strain. Our airbags can handle up to 5,000 pounds, but keep in mind these are just there for support. more
