Hey everyone, Ryan here at Etrailer today and our 2019 Ford F53 motor home, we're gonna be taking a look at our best suspension enhancement options. When it comes to motor homes, a lot of people really aren't satisfied with, you know, how they perform in terms of driving it down the road, the suspension's kind of all over the place. The steering's usually sloppy and these are just a big brick, more or less going down the road and really top heavy, they catch wind. And so a lot of people, you know, they get fatigued trying to handle this thing. It's not a comforting drive, right And a lot of people wonder if there's anything they can do to improve the ride quality. And yeah, there's quite a few things that you can do by adding parts to really stiffen everything up and make that driving experience a lot more enjoyable. more

SumoSprings Maxim Rear Helper Springs Installation - 2019 Ford F-53- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the SumoSprings Maxim Rear Helper Springs on a 2019 Ford F53 chassis. And this is what your SumoSpring is gonna look like when it's installed on your chassis. And it does have to be drilled into the frame for your top mounting plate. But the bottom bracket, just simply bolts around your leaf springs and this is gonna create a cushion between the frame of the vehicle and the leaf springs and just help absorb a lot of the shock that your factory suspension just doesn't handle very well. The big thing with RVs like this, as you drive them side to side, you're gonna notice a lot of sway, and on the freeway, you may get wind kind of blowing you back and forth and this is gonna help stabilize that because it creates a larger, it fills this gap essentially, whereas your factory jounce, it's pretty small, and it takes a lot for it to finely compress enough for it to bottom out before you feel anything. And that's the difference is the SumoSpring is gonna fill that void and be comfortable throughout. more

Today, on our 2019 Ford F53 chassis motor home, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs for the front axle. Having a motor home could be a really nice thing. We can travel around the country, seeing a lot of places we haven't seen or go camping or whatever we want to. But one thing that people don't talk a lot about when they talk about motor homes is how uncomfortable the drive can be. 'Cause let's face it, we have a lot of area for wind to catch and to start pushing us around. So whether we're going down the highway and we have a crosswind that pushes us, or if we're at the campsite and we just started hitting some uneven pavement, it can get a little unnerving. more

Rob here at etrailer.com and today you'll be taking a look at the sumo springs front helper springs on our 2019 Ford FN3 chassis motor home. Having a motor home can be really nice. We take trips with our family, see places that we've never been before. But one thing a lot of people don't talk about is how our motor home is going to handle. We had a lot of questions here etrailer.com about motor homes and typically it's about the suspension. Because motor homes are going to be a lot more top-heavy, which means when we're going through the road we'll get a lot of sway and kind of rolling feeling or if we're driving down the road we have a big gust of wind, it'll push us to the side and then we end up fighting that steering wheel. more

Today on our 2019 Ford F53 chassis motorhome, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SumoSprings maxim custom helper springs for the rear axle.Having a motorhome can be a really fun thing and we can enjoy it a lot. We can go places we've never been before, spend time with our family, go camping or anything like that. But at the same time it can be really stressful and even scary at times. Because our motorhome, it's a rather big vehicle and there's a lot of area here for the wind to catch. So when we're driving down the road, it may feel like we're getting pushed around and the body starts to lean and roll, especially when a semi drives past us or we hit a big cross wind. So before we put any of our suspension components on, let's take it on our test course and see how it handles.As I bring my motorhome through the slalom course, I can definitely feel a lot of body roll going on, like it almost wants to lean before it starts to turn. more

Rob: Rob here at Etrailer.com, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Sumo springs rear helper springs on our 2019 Ford F-53 chassis motor home. Now here at Etrailer.com get a lot of questions about motor homes. Specifically about the suspension, because you've ever driven one before you can realize how soft and kind of mushy they feel when we're driving down the road, especially if a big gust of wind comes, there's a lot of area for that wind to catch and it just ends up pushing us around. In turn we ended up fighting the steering wheel, and even when we do go to turn, we get a lot of that body roll where the the motor home we'll want to lean before it actually gets into the turn. So for us driving, it can be a little stressful, not to mention all the people in the back that have to deal with that as well.Our Sumo Springs are gonna alleviate a lot of those problems, making it more comfortable for us to drive, feel more in control, and the passengers can enjoy the ride as well. So now that we have our Sumo springs in place, let's take it on a test course and see how the handle. more
