Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2015 Ford F-53 motor home, we're gonna be checking out our best suspension enhancement options. When it comes to motor homes, a lot of people really aren't satisfied with, you know, how they perform in terms of driving it down the road. The suspension's kinda all over the place. The steering's usually sloppy and these are just a big brick, more or less going down the road and really top heavy, they catch wind. And so a lot of people, you know, they get fatigued trying to handle this thing. more

Hi, John with etrailer. Today we have a 2015 Ford F-53 chassis. We're gonna be taking a look at some of the features and the installation of SumoSprings Maxim Rear Helper Springs right here on the rear axle. Now, in order for us to take a close look at 'em, see how they're built and see how they mount up, let's go ahead and pull this into the shop. We'll take the wheels off and take a closer look. Now with the wheels removed, we can kind of take a closer look at the SumoSprings and how they mount up on this F-53 chassis, so basically this is the rear axle here. more

SuperSprings SumoSprings Rebel Front Helper Springs Installation - 2015 Ford F-53- Video
Hi there motor home owners. Today on your 2015 motor home with an F-53 chassis, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs for the front axle and this is what your new SumoSprings are going to look like when it's installed. These springs are a two piece design. You have a permanently attached upper half and a permanently attached bottom half. What's nice about it being a two piece design is you have infinite suspension travel. Your factory jounce bumper does have infinite suspension travel as well, but you can see here it's much smaller and you only have a top piece. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 1015 Ford F-53 Chassis motor home we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SuperSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs for the front axle, part number SSF-170-40-2.Owning a RV can be great. We can go around the country seeing places we haven't been before, or take a vacation with our family, but there's one thing that nobody seems to talk about. When we first get our RV the ride is going to be very uncomfortable. It may seem a little bit unstable. Whether we're driving down the highway, and we catch a large cross-wind, and let's face it, we're driving a large box on wheels that's going to catch a lot of air. SumoSprings Maxim Rear Axle Helper Springs Installation - 2015 Ford F-53- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Ford F53 chassis motor home we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs for the rear axle. Part number SSR-187-54-1. And these are going to provide up to 5400 pounds of support giving us a lot better of a ride, cushioning all the bumps and uneven roads.The springs themselves are going to work independently from each other, which will help with those off center loads or for going down a lot of uneven terrain. Now our spring, you're going to be able to compress up to 80% giving us that support, but in the time when we're not loaded they can expand up to 50%. So they're gonna give us that comfort and support whether we're loaded or unloaded. But the nice thing about the design of the spring is when they do compress it has very minimal expansion going outwards. more

Today on our 2015 Ford F53 - this is the Tiffen Allegro - we're going to take a look at, and show you how to install the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper springs. These are for the rear axle and offer a 56 hundred pound capacity. Part number is S-S-R dash 1-8-3 dash 5-4 dash 1. And here's what our spring looks like once we get it installed. As you can see, it's going to ride right on top of that lead spring, and it's active at all times. So this is going to give us very light support. more

Today on our 2015 Ford F-53 Tiffen, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs for the front axle, offering a 4,600-pound weight capacity at 50% compression. Part number is SSF-183-40-1. Once the springs start to compress, they're going to work harder and harder until they get fully compressed to help us out, keep us traveling safely. The biggest benefit we'll see from these are going to be improved driver control and comfort. Now here's the heart of our system. This is our spring. Now this is made of a microcellular urethane.
