SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit Installation - 2004 Ford F-250

Speaker 1: Today on our 2004 Ford F250 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit, part number SSA13. Here's what our SuperSprings look like when they're installed, and these are going to install right directly over our factory leaf springs and give us some extra support. They are going to greatly reduce the amount of sagging in our truck when we're carrying a heavy load. They're also going to stop our factory leaf springs from twisting, acting as an anti-sway.Now, our SuperSprings are only going to be activated when our factory springs are under a load. These three holes here are going to give us an adjustment of not only the spring preload, but also the height adjustment. On the lowest setting we're going to have minimal to no height increase, but we're still going to have the support when our spring starts to sag. more

Best 2004 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty Suspension Enhancement Options- Video

Best 2004 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty Suspension Enhancement Options

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best suspension enhancements for your 2004 Ford F-150, F-250 and F-350. Here we're going to have a leaf spring style helper spring followed by our airbag helper springs and then over here we're going to have a jounce style helper spring and this is going to be our lower overload helper spring, and then finally on the end this is going to be our upper overload helper springs. Now, each one of our types of suspension enhancements are going to do the same thing. When we're carrying a heavy load or hauling a heavy trailer, they are going to prevent the back end of our truck from sagging, causing more strain on our suspension as well as lifting of the front end, creating less contact for our tires and not a safe driving condition. They're all going to help prevent all of those things from happening. So let's take a closer look at some of the benefits from each one. Now, our helper leaf springs here are not only going to give us that load leveling support, but they're also going to give us a little bit of anti-sway because of the way they're going to mount. Our leaf spring style helper springs are going to mount to our factory leaf springs. more

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Installation - 2004 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Today on this 2004 Ford F-350 Super Duty, we're going to install part number F2550. This is the Firestone Ride Right Air Helper Springs. A few notes about our install, is that to make things a little bit easier, we removed the spare tire to get it out of our way. Now also this vehicle had a previous set of air springs installed, and has since been removed. Typically there'd be a john stop that we'd have to remove from the bottom of the frame, but that's already been removed. We'll start with basically a bone-stock frame. There's pre-existing bushing that's in the frame. We'll need to reuse that. more

Rate your transcript OrderClientKevin BrossRef #20515Order #TC0601312084 Today on 2004 Ford F250, we'll be installing the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, part number TFR250SDE. Just sitting on level ground, we have approximately 40 3/4 inches from the ground to the top of the wheel well. Without the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement installed, and with about a hundred gallons of water in the bed of the vehicle, it's squats the opening to about 39 1/2 inches from the ground to the top of the wheel well. Now that we have our system installed, now we'll go ahead and put the water tank back in the vehicle and we'll get another measurement. Now it measures 39 and 3/4 inches from the ground to the top of the opening in the wheel well. To begin with, we'll need to go underneath the vehicle and we'll need to remove the original bump stop from each side. We'll be removing the rubber piece by removing the bolt as well as the center spacer from each side. The bolt will come out from above the bracket. more

Air Lift LoadLifter Air Helper Springs Installation - 2004 Ford F-250

Today on our 2004 Ford F250 we'll be installing the Air Lift Load Lifter 5000 air helper springs, part number AL573090. Now today our F250 has a 6 inch lift on it, but the Load Lifter 5000 will still bolt into place, now again because our vehicle has a suspension lift on it we dont need to expand the suspension on the truck, but it is a good idea to go ahead and do that to give you enough clearance to get your air spring in. now today we'll be installing the passenger side. The drivers side installs the exact same way with a few minor additions. On the drivers side you'll want to make sure that you keep the wiring harness out of the way of the air spring and the hardware. Also the kit comes with an emergency brake cable clamp that you'll bolt into place to hold the emergency brake out of the spring. more
