Hey, everyone. Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our best suspension enhancement options for the 2019 Ford F-150. When it comes to suspension enhancements, you know, there's a ton of different options out there and so my thought was for today just to kind of minimize that and we're gonna be looking at four different, you know, kits here that are my favorites and ones that I've got experience with and I think that work out pretty well. So right here we have a Timbren. Right here we have an airbag, we have TorkLift stabilizers here and then we actually have one more installed on the truck. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2019 Ford F-150, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 air helper springs for the rear axle. But before we get into that, why don't we just take a couple minutes, check these out and make sure they're gonna work for you. This is how they're gonna sit whenever they're installed. And they're just gonna fill that void from the bottom of your frame rail to the top of your axle housing and that's how it's gonna provide that support or cushion. And these are just essentially gonna replace your factory jounce bumpers, which is this piece here. more

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Rear Air Helper Springs Installation - 2019 Ford F-150- Video
Hey, everybody, how's it going Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the Air Lift LoadLifter airbags here on our 2019 Ford F-150. So, airbags are going to be a great option for your F-150 here if you find yourself to be doing a lot of towing or hauling. So, the reason we might need airbags is when we have a heavy load in the bed of our truck, or you have a trailer coupled, the rear end of the truck is actually going to sag down a little bit due to that weight. Now that rear end sag, it's going to cause a number of different problems. So aside from just looking funky, no one necessarily wants the rear end of their truck to be sagging lower than the front, but something that a lot of people don't realize, and you really wouldn't actually know this until you got in your vehicle, and you started towing, is that the reduced stopping power we're going to have when the rear of our truck is squatting down there is actually quite significant. Now, the reason it affects our braking is because the majority of our braking force is going to be on the front axle. more

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System Installation - 2019 Ford F-150- Video
Hey guys. Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System here on our 2019 Ford F-150. This is what our system is going to look like when installed. As you can see here, we have a nice rubber Aeon spring, followed up with our metal brackets here on the top, which attaches it to the frame. And then the bottom bracket here, which is going to serve as the contact point for the spring.If we take a look at the factory spring that this one replaces, as you can see, there's quite a big difference. The differences are going to be not only the height and how soon it engages, but the material of the spring is also going to be different as well. more

Shane: Hey everyone. Shane here with etrailer.com. Today, I have a 2019 Ford F-150 and I want to walk through how to install Firestone's Ride-Rite air helper springs for the rear axle. Without our system put on or without a vehicle suspension enhancement installed and weight on here, what we feel is we feel like the bottom of our truck is bottoming out. And that is just your jounce bumper hitting that plate. The jounce bumpers on these are not real thick. more

Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Airlift LoadLifter 5,000 Air Helper Springs for the rear axle on our 2019 Ford F-150. Now, the need for airbags comes in when you're towing a heavy trailer, you have a heavy load in the back or anything that's going to be putting a lot of weight on the back axle of your truck. What ends up happening is we have all that weight that starts pushing down, puts a lot of strain and stress on the rear axle. Not to mention, it's going to end up causing a teetering effect, which will pull up the front end, which means our tires aren't going to be in contact as well, which means our braking and steering is going to be diminished. Plus, our headlights are going to be aiming up, potentially blinding people if you're driving at night.I'm going to go ahead and put the weight of my trailer down on my truck and we'll see how much it actually affects the back end. Now, you can see that it did lower our rear suspension just a little bit. more
