Hey, everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs here on a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. Adding air helper springs here to your Silverado is gonna be an excellent option, because what it's gonna do is it's gonna provide some rear-end support when we're towing and hauling those heavy loads. So if we don't add any suspension enhancements to our truck here and we couple that really heavy trailer or we're throwing a ton of weight in our truck bed, what that's gonna do is it's going to sag the rear of the truck and it's gonna bring the front end of the truck up. Now that not only looks kind of goofy, that's actually gonna have drastic effects on our overall towing experience and the handling and performance of our truck. So one of the major things that people don't realize is a lot of our braking force comes from the front axle, and that braking force relies on the weight over the axle to help the truck come to a stop. So when we take the weight off the front axle and transfer it to the rear we're gonna be drastically reducing our braking power. more

Today, on our 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL air helper springs for the rear axle. So, one thing that I like to do is take a couple of measurements and kinda get a baseline for our truck. That way, we have something to compare it to once we get the air bags actually installed. You know, that way, we can see if there's any difference made. So, with that said, the first thing I'm gonna do is just take a measurement of the truck. more

Today, on your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 ultimate air helper springs with internal jounce bumpers. Before we install our airbags, we're gonna get a baseline of what our vehicles like from the factory. We're first gonna start by taking a measurement of the ride height. Here at the back, we're at about 41 inches. And then here in the front, we're about 39 1/2 inches. more
